Wow wow wow! We had the most amazing experience! We literally had the most amazing pizzas I've ever had. Papa's Pizza has set a standard now and I don't want to get pizza anywhere else. The owner and the cashier were super! The owner was so welcoming and made the pizzas right in front of us! The food came out quickly, but he gave us some samples of his beautiful homemade pecan tarts while we waited! He has an entire display case of decadent homemade pastries. They all looked heavenly. The pizzas. Oh my soul, the pizzas....the pizza base was perfect. It was cheesy, and the toppings were abundant. I could honestly have died happy after having that pizza🍕 ... Very good Italian take out with wood fire 🔥 oven pizza 🍕 they also do pasta 🍝 also homemade pies and dessert s. The pizzas 🍕 were vere nice and we took home a few deserts which was divine. The owner is a lovery chap and you can hear he is Italian, so you know it's gonna be home cooked goodness, he was really friendly and all the staff pleasnt. What a lovely little find in Knysna! We had a margerita and a meaty Pizza and its absolutely devine! The owner is Italian and so hospitable and friendly! The wait time was quick and well worth it! We also took home the apple strudel and chocolate logs which were out of this world!! The ingredients are all fresh for everything we bought and it was made with Love for sure! Owner was very friendly and gave excellent customer service while producing a perfect pizza. He even charged less after I omitted an ingredient on my pizza, really feels like he cares about the customer. Highly recommend and will be a must stop for anytime I go to Knysa in the future! Love the aunthenticity of Papas and the fact that actual ingredients are used to create flavour rather than sauces. Pasta Alfredo with ham and meaty pizza is my ultimate treat on payday. I came three times to try to order a pizza. The first evening the excuse was that there was loadshedding and the wood fire oven wasn't working. Second afternoon at 1 I came to order a pizza the next excuse was that the fire was still being prepared and will start at 2. Third and final time I came back, papa the owner of the restaurant, was out delivering an order and there were 4 ladies on staff and only "papa" can prepare the food. Explain how this business is run because it is simply ridiculous.
