Called in still waited 20 or more minutes while girl on register wrote on boxes. My pizza already ready getting cold. Finally told her to give my money back she bothered to check and it was sitting there getting cold. Called back complained and so called manager sucked as bad. None of the other major pizza places in Mount Airy was able to fulfill in order at the time for one reason or another but Papa John's was able to come through and make a pizza that was ready in 15 minutes! Ordered the Italian meat trio papa bowl for dinner from the Papp John’s app. It was ready in fifteen minutes and the tracker alerted me it was ready. In and out of the store quick. It is a Papa John's, so unsurprisingly it's set up to grab food and go. There's some seats to wait for your food. And I'm biased towards Papa John's for both pizza and buffalo wings. ^^ I'm a big fan of pepperoncini juice in buffalo sauce. I order a very... Unique pizza (no cheese), and it was made properly first try this time! Previously, they've messed up my weird order (which is unsurprising), and were very agreeable in correcting the order, so they have my favor. These pizza companies should be mandated to use gloves. Nevertheless, the person taking cash is kneading flour packing food everything without washing their hands, that was the last straw for me. Also, the time frames given to pick up your order is not adhered to, and the staff give you dirty looks when you ask for an ETA. We just spent $30 on pizza that was completely cold by the time it got here a hour and a half after ordering. After being on hold calling the store I was offered a whole 30% off my next order - thanks but no thanks. Recooking our pizza in the oven and ordering Dominoes from here on out. Always a great service. Its busy they have lots of people walk in and pick up. The pizza is always fresh and ready. I keep returning and its great.
