Nice place for a meal in Calheta, with a sea view. I tasted the parrotfish fried fillet and a grilled fish with boiled potatoes and salad. We also tried the big local clams which were a little expensive I think (35€ for 1/2kg). With some white wine and some cheese we spent 20€ each, more or less. Very good restaurant in Calheta!!! Beware the rations are big so you don't order more than you can eat ;) The tuna was delicious! The limpets were very big and tasty! The desserts are home-made One of the best options around the area! Totally recommended!

We stumbled upon this place after getting caught in the rain. We were sooo pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was, the grilled squid was a dream, melting in your mouth! The service was so helpful, trying hard to accommodate us! Everything was perfect!

One of the better restaurants we have found so far on São Jorge. Steaks are very good and we enjoyed the local (Pico Island) wine. I recommend certainly. We have tried a few others in Velas but the choice and quality is very good here. Thanks Os Amigos

We very much like the ambience and the food, so much so that we ate here several times during our ten day visit. We ordered something different every time and were not disappointed. Delicious food, beautifully appointed room, gorgeous view and quiet surroundings.
