Fantastic local coffee shop. Small storefront. Definitely recommend buying from them. You can buy whole bean or ground. The tri mix is awesome. We are thankful to have found them in our travels. Limited English speaking, which is ok because we are in Mexico. So be prepared with what you might want in terms of bean and how much. I think we paid $150 mxn pesos per half kilo. The lady that helped us was super sweet and patient. She even let us take a few pics of the roasting machine. We'll be back.
Delicious, robust coffee. I'm lucky enough that my mother-in-law will send some to Colorado or bring some home with her.
I'm not sure if there is any difference in the way coffee is roasted in the States, versus in Mexico, but I much prefer Mexican coffee. (Perhaps it has nothing to do with roasting, and it's the fact that the beans are fresher in Mexico. 🤷♀️) Regardless, the beans never seem to be bitter or burnt....just smooth y magico!
This is without a doubt the absolute best coffee on the island. Angel own the farm high in the mountains of Chiapas Mexico where his beans come from. He roasts them to perfection and exactly to my specifications in his local workshop the day he delivers them. Angel's passion for delivering the most wonderful coffee in Cozumel is undeniable!
Best coffee roasters on the ISLAND by far. Off the tourist track but more than worth the visit. It caters primarily to locals and long term expats. The owner not only owns the roaster but the coffee plantation.
Not many roasters in the area, and this one is my favorite because they offer a medium roast. Other roasters in the Playa/Cozumel either have a really dark roast or they just burn the beans.
I still haven't found a light roast coffee anywhere around this area of Mexico
