Best overall BBQ place in South... Whilst I have had better tasting BBQ, the overall experience regarding, service, Quality, taste, atmosphere and Variety is truly unmatched... While buying bbq you can also make Market... Yes Fresh Garden stuff are on sale once they are opened, fresh juices and Deserts.... Very Pricey compared to other BBQ sheds, but excellent parking, seating and safety!!!

Spacious open casual dining area, tables are wiped down with sanitizer by the staff. Lines are handled quickly once cash is being used, linx does take a while. The quality that we were accustomed to has dropped along with the increase in prices for the same amount of food. The food still tastes good, though that long ago taste was something we used to crave all the time. Parking is abundant but not really regulated so it’s up to everyone to keep some order. Overall it is a convenient place to have dinner or order food quickly but just lacks that edge over other BBQ places.

Worth the drive or easy if you're local. Close to the highway so easy to get to.
I grew up in the south and I now live in the North of Trinidad and I will always stand by that south has the better tasting bbq. I frequented this BBQ place mainly but then their consistency and taste dropped drastically so much so I started buying from the other BBQ place in Duncan village. For almost 15 year I switched and because the same reasons the other place has consistency and quality issues. I recently patronised the Original BBQ hut and I am totally impressed again and reminded back to the good old days. Highly recommended

Great food, I have been buying from Original from when they were in the old location and their sauces are still on point, everytime I am craving some bbq it is here we go, their shrimp pretty big and you get a decent amount, the beef is great as well there is so much meat in the box sometimes I can barely eat it out and the beef is cut small so you can eat it with the fries one time, I definitely recommend here for a tasty bbq, and make sure and try their fresh juices they have in the cooler when ordering, the grapefruit is so good you won't be disappointed. I absolutely love their pepper sauce as well I am glad they never changed it, same thing for the garlic sauce, no one makes sauce like them.
Another thing the macaroni pies are awesome, you have to try it out, it tastes like old time macaroni pie they way grandparents would make it

I cant believe that my favorite bbq place in south, quality has dropped soooooooo, much.
When you purchase the order of Leg & Thigh. You don't actually get the WHOLE, order. They hold back a piece or two of chicken, to put in another customer box. And bury it with French fries, to hid your order. Before, in a couple years gone by, when you buy , you actually get what you pay for. Not any more....Yesterday was my last visit with my family... so sad....
