Traveled from around Johnson City Tennessee to a show here last night (Dropout Kings) and this place is off the HOOK!! Staff (bartenders) were amazing and the open area makes for INSANE ENERGY 🔥!

This is a great, small venue for bands with an outstanding sound system that you may not find in some larger venues. I saw the tribute band Barracuda and the band was first class and the venue gave them a quality sound. The staff was friendly & attentive and appeared to enjoy their work. Our food arrived piping hot and was of excellent quality. I will certainly visit again for another concert of which they have many.

Bullet the Blue Sky was a U2 Tribute band. Excellent. Fun! Sounded just like them. Service good. Good drink special. Bathroom nice. Atmosphere full of big fans. Friendly staff.

Never been to this venue before and really enjoyed our first time. Had the absolute pleasure of seeing Keith Wallen along with his two opening acts, which were all great. Nice comfortable setting with a nice large bar. Setting is very close and personal which is so nice. Best part of the night for me was buying Keith Wallen a shot during his set and then my husband bought him another after the show. Thank y’all for a great night out with our friends.

This was my first time visiting Open Chord. My brother hosted the blues jam for Friday night! It was absolutely amazing! I took my 4 year old with me and I think he had more fun than I did. Food was good, drinks were great! Highly recommend!

Could use more parking. The staff was friendly and not overbearing. Easy access close by an i40 exit. Sound acoustics were very nice for being such a small venue.

Nice music venue! Smallish with limited seating 💺 It seems they have some solid tribute bands, a blues jam, which I have attended, and an occasional open mic at the Open Chord! Check it out.

This place is just absolutely amazing. One of my favorite music venues! The staff is friendly and just awesome as well. Not to mention they have a very respectful amount of high quality music instruments and supplies on hand. I highly recommend, Almost insist, you experience this place!!! The band picture, Just in case you Live under a rock, is Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen!!!!!! They are freaking awesome!
