Had wanted t to try their Schnitzel and hoping they have it with stuffed cheese but they don't. Switch to the Pork Knuckle instead seeing that they have it in small portion and fully cut out. I enjoyed the convenience of not having to debone the meat myself since it wasn't a full knuckle but taste wise probably not the best I had. Also rather pricey for its portion. Nice place to dine. The dishes are good in quality and presentation. The portion is big, for small eater, a main course can serve two persons. Their sets are value of money, it come with soup, desert and drink. The desert you can choose from Terimisu or Ice cream, both are great! Again portion is big, you can see from my photos. The ice cream is not sweet, so u don't have to worry. Five of us order 5 different sets, they were all great. Cod fish, beef, chicken, pork knuckles, sausages... all nicely cook. We enjoy the meals time. The service was great, the one who served us was polite, patient and attentive to our needs. Will come back again.
I found this place at the end of Yongkang street with my tired & hungry three year old. There are lots of options on the menu including children's meals. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our visit. The toilets were clean and there is plenty of seating over two floors. Bakery items are tasty, too.

(With English menu)I had a lunch in here before, and the experience was good. However, I had a dinner here this time. I really think it’s not really German style. If u recognize as a western restaurant is ok. The meat are just acceptable. The salad and cake is ok, but not special. The price is higher than average in this area. I spent around 850NTD for a normal portion of dinner, which surprised me.

German food in Taipei? This is the place to check out. High CP lunch set - for NT300+, you get a 4 course set meal consisting of a main, a drink, soup, salad and cake. Ordered a chicken cutlet (380~) and German pork knuckle (780~). Portion for chicken is ok, but very generous serving of pork knuckle. Though they deboned it for you, they left the knuckle at the side for you to admire. Salad: ok Soup and bread: good Main: good Dessert: good Coffee: ok

A bit expensive, but worth it considering the effort put into creating and serving this appropriated menu here. They offer some typical Bavarian dishes (Semmelknödel Schnitzel) that are good. Great for buying some bread to take home to the family or getting a quick desert (the tiramisu cake looks good)! If you’re in the area and want to try a Taiwanese take on German food, this is the place.
