Very nice cafe and delicious food.
Staff could be a bit more attentive. Cats running around and begging for food. Some construction and dirt are currently happening.
You can see silk worms and the weaving process with no obligation.

What we expected to be a good place really didn't exceed expectations.
Service wasn't great to start with, empty cafe but took time to take our order. Drinks then forgotten, and we had to ask twice to get our food order taken. Food arrived, and we were asked to move table as they were doing building work - it would've been nicer for them to ask before or after we had eaten our food, not during. Food itself wasn't very flavoursome, had better elsewhere. Also covered in coriander, which isn't to everyone's taste and definitely ruined the flavour of my meal. Should be an optional garnish.
As it's on the pricier end, I would expect more.
The one positive thing is the layout of the restaurant and the view. Nice for a sunset.

Fantastic Café and probably our favorite in Luang Prabang. A short ride away from the city center and the most atmospheric place we have found.
Excellent all-round. Do not skip this hidden gem - it'll be your Luang Prabang highlight.

Amazing place where you can kick back and relax while watching the boats floating in Mekong. The food is amazingly delicious, and you can find the local dishes that they don’t serve in other restaurants in town. The mixed Lao canapés and lemongrass stuffed with minced chicken were a perfection.
Gorgeous spot on the Mekong. I was there for lunch. The food was delicious, I had the chicken in Lemon grass stick and was memorable. Fresh coconut juice. Exceptional service. Highly recommeded.

I'd put 6 stars if I could for atmosphere, the view over the Mekong river with the mountains on the background was just stunning.
Service was great and the food tasty.
Would definitely come back again.

Beautifully relaxing spot with perfect river views. Friendly staff, fresh flavours in the dishes (the spring rolls with local vegetables and flowers were lovely). Great, supportive initiative. I would imagine it is a very good sunset spot. We visited for lunch and would recommend coming for cocktail sundowners or lunch.

Unbeatable view of the Mekong River, even clearer and better than from the inside of town. Especially during sunset. I visited the cafe once during dinner time and once during lunch.
Even during lunch time, there is sufficient ventilation from the fan and river, and shade that the weather is bearable and pleasant.
Food is pretty good. Recommend the seaweed and Luang Prabang sausage. Tamarind fish is fresh.
I walked to and fro here from the Joma Cafe at Chaofa Ngum Road in town, and it took about 30 mins each way. Just walk straight all the way along the sidewalk. The dogs that hang out in the little alley in front of Ock Pop Tok will ignore you - if you're afraid of dogs like I am.
However, do beware that there are cats at the cafe. When I was there at dinner, there were 2 cats fighting and prowling loudly. They fought and ran under an occupied table which really scared the customers.
Diners had to prompt the staff to remove the cats from the dining area.
