Such a lovely lady, with such a lovely little family run restaurant. Unfortunately there is currently a new market being built in front of her restaurant, which is set back from the road, so it’s hard to find. If you look opposite 7/11 you will find it, you just have to drive across the big empty space. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Wow, what a treasure! Nom's restaurant is the real deal, serving Thai food cooked with love. We had two different styles of Kuaytiew Tom Yum noodle soup and were quite blown away at the quality of the dishes and flavor balance. Dishes were cooked to order and portions were large considering the price was so low. Chef/owner Nom was an absolute delight to talk with and offered prompt, attentive service and some nice conversation. Seek this place out if you are in Koh phangan, you won't regret it!
Nom is absolutely a great chef and very welcoming person. Eat here like 20 times and always enjoyed the fried chicken basil. One of the best i had in Thailand. Good price, good portions. Very recomended.
A true hidden gem. Slightly off the main road, but oh my god, what an explosion of flavours! One of the best green curries I’ve tasted. 💚 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
One of the best home cooked Thai food on the island! Set in a quiet and peaceful jungle setting across from 7-11.

Amazing. Its not fast food like some other road side Thai spots but its because it’s being cooked on the spot, like at home. Shrimp glass noodle salad or any of the noodle soups are amazing. Unbelievably fresh ingredients and huge servings. Nom is also a great character and they make an effort here. A hidden gem.

Ok, I don’t mean to ruin the perfect score however this place is not for everyone! The food is good however, since it’s not a regular restaurant but more of a home kitchen the owner starts cooking the food when you order which means that it takes a really long time to get the food. We came with a hungry toddler and after 45 minutes I found myself going to the 7/11 across the street to get him something to eat. Yes, it’s a gem if you have the hole afternoon otherwise it can be tricky. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch
Don't let the modesty of the place and the empty bar counter fool you - that lady knows Thai cooking! We live on the island for almost a year now, and after sampling dozens of Thai restaurants I can tell that this is by far one of the best. Any dish we ordered was made to perfection, even when we asked to omit sugar. Portions are significantly larger than any other place we've been to, and Nom always serves with a smile and free drinking water, which is definitely not obvious on the island. Food is super fresh. Heck, she even makes noodles by herself. We keep coming and we recommend anyone who visits Koh-Phangan and wants to try some authentic Thai food to drop by.

Authentic Thai Food poetry! You can t beat the location, the kindness of Nom and the taste of her food! Simply the best thai experience in Phangan!
This is not just another Thai restaurant. It doesn't looks fancy from outside nor the restaurant itself but the dishes is absolutely fantastic. Nom know how to make it. Afrer the first time there it'll become your favorite place to eat thai food. The dishes are more expensive than the average other thai restaurants. But you'll also get bigger dish. Nom is a very nice person and I had very interesting conversations with her.
