As A First Time Customer, The Cake Was Amazing, Soft, and The Icing Was Rich. But They Confused My Order By Giving Me A 6 Inch Cake. I Even Gave Them A Image Showing The Exact Size && Design I Wanted For My Cake. They Thought I Said 8 Servings When I Said I Wanted An 8 Inch Cake. I Was Completely Upset Because I Had 15 People Who Came To My Sleepover Birthday Party && Everyone Including Myself ( The Birthday Girl ) All Had To Get Thin Slices. But Overall The Cake Was Really Good.
The yummiest bakery in Pleasanton!! They can make any cake you can dream of. Best part is that they use butter cream instead of super sweet fondant for custom cake. I have ordered from them twice and have been delighted both times. Guests loved it so much that they ordered for their parties from here too. If you are looking for custom cakes, look no further.
Received an extremely tough to work with birthday cake that was ordered well in advance . Extremely bad experience for the host, the guests and as well the birthday boy who didn't even would want to go near that cake after the first bite :(
We had requested for an eggless cake from one of their existing designs and were not informed of anything that could be attributed to the end result, which turned out to be a brick to cut through and tough nut to crack. It looked like it wasn’t baked hood as well.
Kind of ruined the birthday boy and the party’s mood quite a bit.
3 stars for them being able to get in our order ready in a short turnaround time though the end result was really a bad experience.
One off experience this one could be and maybe it’d much better next time!!

The flavor variety immediately caught my attention, inspiring me to book a tasting appointment. Donna was a very easy-going lady to work with, and she was very swift to respond to all calls & emails.
Then, Tasting Day arrived.
All pre-selected cakes were uniquely delicious, so of course, my Family, Fiancé & I spent over an hour deliberating amongst ourselves for a winner. 😣😅
Sensing our bubbling frustration, the Sit-In Assistant snuck out of the Tasting Room, grabbed a cupcake from the front display counter, and offered it to us to try….
And that ultra moist, pink champagne-flavored cupcake (topped with an ethereal mountain of raspberry buttercream) ended up being the unanimous crowd-pleaser! 🥰
For the design, I offered them a few Pinterest pictures, and they absolutely nailed it. 🎉
At the Reception, guests admired the cake’s beauty until we cut it…😜
I'm looking forward to our 1st Anniversary, when we can go into this magical place once again for our free, mini-version of this masterpiece…
Update — the mini version was just as perfect as the mega-cake from our Big Day…🥰
Will try and make it a tradition to buy a few cupcakes for every Anniversary onwards 💝
We love Noland's Cake Shop! Our wedding cake is just so beautiful and according to how we imagined it. Not only that, it's so delicious as well. Excellent service and fantastic place to make custom cakes. I had some urgent requirements and they even worked overtime to get the cake completed. The cake was super complicated too. I don't think any cake shop will go this much out of their way to make a customer happy. I am really impressed by their services and how much they care about their customers. The manager lady was super understanding and easy to talk to. Thank you so much for the amazing cake and I really appreciate you helping me out with an urgent order. It really meant a lot.
