At this point I am just done with chinese food in Schenectady. Somehow portions of my noodles were ice cold, the shrimp were big and were - mushy or something. I asked for white rice got pork fried rice on one portion, pork looked off. Orange chicken and general tsos both had a mushy texture, and the chicken wing cuts were nasty looking and the chicken wing flavor was disgusting. Ive eaten here since high school and yall seem like youve given up. 32 bucks and I tipped, never again. I am worried about eating the food because of how it is so we threw essentially all of it out. Its me and my three kids I am not trying to get food poisoning. This food yall putting out is not normal! Service Delivery Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

I placed my order on Mealeo so I have nothing to say about thier customer service. Though the delivery was super fast and the driver was nice. This is the 1st time I have ordered frim New China. When I order from a place the 1st time I always order the sweet and sour chicken. It's a super basic meal. Pros of the meal: Chicken tasted good with and without the sauce. The sauce was good also. The Egg Roll was yummy. The Wonton Soup was a pint and they gave me 5 wontons which is more that most places give you. It was flavorful. I asked for chopsticks and they did provide it. Cons of the meal: the rice was dry. After I put a packet of soy sauce on it, it was very tasty. I ordered the shanghi spring roll and it was a bit mushy inside. Not sure if that is normal but I've never had a spring roll be mushy. I also ordered a soda and asked for orange or grape but they sent a sprite. I will probably give New China a second change next time I crave chinese food. I will give a beef dish a try and will update when I do. Service Delivery Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

Wow, I’ve had some bad kung pao chicken before, but this is a new low. The “meat” is battered and deep fried to a burnt crisp. All you can taste is burnt batter and after trying a few bites I could not identify any chicken in the middle. Avoid this place if you have tastebuds. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Gave me the wrong combo and whatever it was they mistakingly gave me was absolutely disgusting. Disappointing. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
I order Delivery all the time and the delivery personal are very nice. Food is piping hot and very delicious! Never had an order made wrong in the 5 years I have ordered here. The pork ribs are extra delicious and the rice is delicious as well. There is an Asian delivery place a few blocks from here and I would never think of going back to them Ever! The food from New China is the best and the owner and his wife are very friendly and make sure their business is kept clean and speedy.

I should have known something was off when the clock was not set correctly and cases of two liters were stacked by one of three tables. There is no sink to wash hands. I am not in the habit of assuming the order will be subpar. The beef dish and soup were over $10 had very little meat in it, with the few fatty pieces hidden in barely cooked peppers. Even the pork fried rice had little pork in it, and no egg. The onions were the only nearly decent part of the dish. Do not abuse my trust when I order take out AND pay up front. If you cannot afford to prepare a dish properly, take it off the menu or reduce the fare you list. I know that Chinese food in both China and Chinatown is way different from what you get elsewhere. I also have a formal foods and nutrition background, having cooked for dining patrons of many backgrounds and tastes. This includes celebrities such as Buddy Hackett, Arthell Neville, Trent Reznor and 9Inch Nails, Li’l Wayne and Pantera. I was requested by patrons and servers alike because I kept a clean, neat work area, etc. for the food to be the same, as well as nutritious, delicious and beautiful. It goes without saying that wait staff admitted that some of their best tips were earned when I worked. Never take customers for granted. Being a devotee of Martin Yan and Grace Young, I expect fine quality Chinese food. Enough said! Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $10–20

The food is usually good when I get it, but the last time(s) it was absolutely disgusting. The soup tasted off, and they gave me the wrong order twice in a row the last two times I ordered. I don't think I'll be ordering from here again. The quality has gone down tremendously. I actually had to throw my food away because of how bad it tasted. Sadly, a waste of my time and money. The man at the counter is usually insanely rude and just throws your food on the counter or at you. They clearly don't like or want customer's money.
Food was standard fare, maybe slightly below par. Orange chicken was good, egg rolls were lacking, chicken stick was weird, mei fun was bland, dumplings were doughy but okay. Biggest reason for the low review is the way I was treated by the manager on call. When I got home, my sesame beef was missing from my takeout order (via Mealeo). I waited until the dinner rush was over and called for a $12.75+tax refund to my card. However, the manager only offered to have me drive back and pick it up or have a credit towards my next order. When neither of those were acceptable, he simply alternated between them, wouldn't let the conversation end until I hung up it accepted one, and wouldn't give me a refund. When I settled for "credit" with no other option but to continue a pointless, circular conversation for the 4th time, he took down my number and hung up immediately. I don't know if that credit is somehow through Mealeo, on some notepad next to the register, or completely made up. $12.75 later, I know NEVER to order from here again. Went into the resurtant to order, when I was approaching I was a little sketched out since they're in a mostly deserted plaza, but the second I walked in I was meet with friendly faces. Ordered sesame chicken and two egg rolls, it was done in around 10 minutes and I left. Got home to eat it and it was perfect, I've seen reviews from a year or so ago saying the egg rolls are super oily and gross, but they've definitely addressed that concern. Yes they were greasy as could be expected, but nowhere near an inedible level and annually tasted very good. I will definitely be ordering from here again 👍
