Without any hesitation this has to be hands down the best authentic Mexican restaurant around this area which is family owned. Absolutely delicious food serve here walking distance from Love’s Travel Center so if you’re a Truck driver yourself and spending time park just take a 3, minute walk to this gem of restaurant you won’t be disappointed. Stopped for my 34 at Love's nearby. Nelly's is a place totally worth getting your dog-tired butt out of that sleeper. I never would have expected Mexican food that was so authentic in St. Joseph, MO! Being born and raised in Southern California, I tend to have high standards for Mexican food. The food was amazing! The owners were welcoming and very polite. It was a great meal, great atmosphere and a very reasonable price. I will definitely be back.
