Food is good, Nasi ayam masak sambal hijau was excellent, beef burger beats some of the best fast food, and sizzling Chicken chop was wow. Teh tarki needs improvement it tasted kike the 3in1 tea.
The seating is a little congested (tables too close to each other) but maybe that is the selling point.

The amount of food for 1 big plate is enough for 2 person with reasonable price. Mee Raja Tom Yam Chicken Chop is really good. Even the drink were so good. I can't even finish my food. Recommended!

Very sadly, my first revisit to Murni after 2016 turned out to be a disastrous disappointment.
First, food/drink quality was crazily low (yet with a significant price rise). A plate of mee raja at RM12.9 had only two bites of chicken and squid? Not to mention mee was mushy. On the other side, Thai tea at RM7.5 was crazily dilute (and sweet despite kurang-mania request). I don’t mind paying more, but please, produce some decent food and drink. This is literally a more expensive and much less worthy version of mamak.
Second, staffs who take orders can’t understand bm or English well. Can’t understand “separuh mee or kurang mee”, “kurang kurang manis” also became “kurang manis kurang ais”.
At the end I only managed to finish a tiny fraction of what I ordered, wasting almost the whole of RM20+.

Love the extra spicy mee raja. So much ingredients and sedap sekali 👍.
My daughter has enjoyed the fish and chips.
We are a little greedy and ordered the extra pedas nasi goreng kampong.
However, we both preferred the mee raja.

The food kinda dry and the chicken is lack of spice. Crowded but has many chairs and tables. Can hangout there but the ventilation not that good.

Indomee Special with Chicken Chop
Nov23: Came back for the Nasi Lemak fried chicken and Nasi Goreng Kampung again. Quality is still very good - the Ikan bilis in the fried rice is very crispy too, really made my day! Still one of the best places for reasonably priced Malay food.
Y2022: The food in this USJ 9 outlet is very delicious and service is very fast. The Nasi Lemak and Nasi Goreng Kampung are very tasty; perfect when complemented with the Fried Chicken! Cost RM 13.5 & RM15 respectively (with chicken).

This place became so bad in terms of food quality, service & ambience. I ordered a spaghetti carbonara for take away and waited for 50 minutes to get my food!! Not only that, the food tasted so bad, so bland and tasted like a toothpaste! Paid for RM13 but I got a dog food quality!!! You thought easy ah to find money nowaydays!! Your eatery also so loud, noisy, worn and understaffed!! Everything is bad and I am very dissapointed!!

I always come here for the mee raja. Always never fail me for 9 years!
BUT!!!
My recent visit was a huge disappointment.
The taste is all different now. I am not sure if it's the person who cook or their food latest SOP.
The mee raja meletup doesn't even get the meletup taste at all. Not even spicy.
The nasi goreng kampung is also totally different. Same thing, not spicy.
The worst is the nasi goreng paprik. The rice doesn't taste good at all and the gravy tasted so sweet. Any other mamak can cook better.
Murni really need to look into this matter. All of their food is getting sweeter and the taste is getting worse.
