Get ready to indulge in the most authentic Indian cuisine at one of the best hotels in Gothenburg! I was blown away by the quality of the food and the friendly service that I received during my first visit. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with open arms and treated like a special guest. And let me tell you, the Chicken biriyani and mixed grill sizzler were out of this world! As someone who recently moved to Sweden, I can confidently say that this was the best Indian food I've had since leaving home. I'm already planning my next visit because I'm super impressed by the service and can't wait to try more of their delicious dishes. If I could, I'd give this place a 0 this is the most shocking and the worst indian restaurant, nay restaurant I've ever been to. Firstly the food, it's not cheap or anything and it's priced for a good amount even for lunch. But the food tastes like its worth 30 kr or less. The chicken tikka masala felt like it was microwaved and it has 3 pieces of chicken in this flavourless sauce. Even a microwaved frozen tikka masala would taste better than this. Than we have the atmosphere it just felt dirty and weird, even boasting the plastic covers over the tables really shows how cheap they are. I even got a bad stomach and a headache after this. Please never come here, there are loads of better restaurants near SKF than this. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Deol's Kitchen (formerly Roshni) at SKF was one of my favourite restaurant in Gothenburg. I have visited their restaurant (at both locations) for more than 5 years. But I noticed today that it is now Mumbai Lounge. I called them and asked if they were the same as Deols Kitchen. They said yes and I went ahead with my order. When I had the food I realised that it is not the same. Original Deols was much much better. I have no problem this being a different restaurant. But since they were not honest when asked about they being same as Deols Kitchen, I was really disappointed. I hope they would be more honest in future. Food was OK, nothing special. Naan was too hard to chew. Chicken Vindaloo was just tomato puree with chilly flakes. Chicken saag was better compared to Vindaloo chicken. And if they are the same as Deols and I am mistaken, I am still disappointed with the food I had today compared to what I have had on several occasions. Best Indian ever. We had a lamb dish and a mixed grill delivered. I’m actually quite chocked, didn’t think you could find Indian food at this quality and sooo full of flavor in Sweden. Every bite is a new sensation. This is nothing like other Swedish-Indian chains that you find on every corner in this city. This is unique. Many thanks! 🙏

Ordered via phone an hour in advance for pickup, and they started preparing food only after I walked in to pick it up. Ordered Paneer Balti and Malai Kofta, and boy they were the most uninspired preparations of these dishes. The naan was good and larger than I expected, so 1 extra star for that.

Tried chicken vindaloo and mix (lunch) Too spicy .. Chicken vindaloo has a good flavour but due to the fact that rice and curry mixed together in the takeaway package, cannot enjoy that flavour much. The mix (beef) was not good and had raw coriander flavour all over. Also, the quantity is very less for the price compared to other takeaway restaurants Not recommended for takeaway lunch
