Hidden gem. CUTE place tucked in the alley way. Pretty decorative drinks but strong enough alcohol 🍸 as well worth the money 💰 the Flan was delicious well made. Nice getaway from the busy everyone starring at ya malecon. Funny delivery drivers as well. Nice to chill and hang out with good drinks Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I had the most incredible dining experience at Mucho Gusto Taco & Mezcal Bar during my vacation in La Paz, Mexico! The authentic flavors and warm hospitality truly made it a five-star experience. The tacos were out of this world - each one bursting with fresh, delicious ingredients. The mezcal selection was impressive, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable, helping me find the perfect pairing. The vibrant atmosphere and live music added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. If you're in La Paz, don't miss Mucho Gusto Taco & Mezcal Bar – it's a culinary gem that made my vacation unforgettable! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Food and service was outstanding! I recommend sitting close to the inside of the restaurant as there are beggars coming to your table if you don’t. Overall food and service were excellent. We went for lunch and enjoyed it so much that we went back for dinner and a private Mezcal tasting and dinner. Robb was excellent at explaining the history of mezcal! Food was excellent as well! We would highly recommend going for dinner and/or the mezcal tasting! The tasting room was private and fun! Price per person $100–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Great experience with Rob doing the 10 mezcal tasting experience. We had fantastic food in a casual, friendly setting and got to know the owner over our extended tasting. Great service and atmosphere for a tasting. We learned a lot and felt like we were learning with a new friend. The house brand of mezcal is excellent. Atmosphere: 5

Our brief stop in La Paz during a Holland America cruise led us to a promising find - a place claiming to serve the best tacos in town. Eager to explore new culinary experiences, we made it our first destination. Located just off the main street where the cruise terminal bus dropped us off, we got a shaded outdoor table and were handed the menu. To our slight disappointment, we learned that on that particular day, only tacos were being served, and the menu was somewhat limited when we attempted to order an appetizer. Undeterred, we decided to make the most of our visit and started with a round of drinks. My husband opted for a Mezcal Flight, while I ventured into the world of Mezcal cocktails with the intriguingly named "Kiwi be Friends." It turned out to be a delightful drink, setting a positive tone for our brief stay. Considering our time constraints, we opted to forego the tacos as the service, unfortunately, took longer than expected just for our drinks. It appeared that day may have been a bit challenging, with a limited menu and possibly short-staffed, as only two individuals were visibly managing the tables. Nevertheless, the establishment had a vibrant atmosphere, with several tables occupied. Despite the minor hiccup in service, we left with the intention of returning at a more leisurely pace to explore the full menu and savor some of the tantalizing food offerings. The drinks, however, were a highlight and certainly worth revisiting for. Price per person $1–100 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We were fortunate enough to have an incredible experience at this small mescal distillery! The owner's passion for mescal shone through during the informative and fun-tasting experience. Thanks for the Hot One's style discussion :) The chef served delicious Mexican food, complementing the taste perfectly. The creative mural added to the intimate atmosphere, and the owner's dedication to authentic local farmers is truly commendable. Highly recommend it for a unique and enjoyable mescal experience! Wish we could bring some home with us. Special nod to our server who felt like family Ernesto (sp) - lovely to meet you. K & D PS VERY pet friendly Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great Mezcal tasting spot. Just off the Malacon and dog friendly. The tacos were great and the Molcajete was filled with delicious meats and shrimp. Wish we had time for the owners Mezcal tour and multi course diner.
