Food was good, but prices were excessive considering serving-size. The chicken and waffles consisted of 2 small chicken tenders and a mini waffle for $18. The chips and dip tray was only half full of chips so we asked for more immediately. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Dear foodie readers fancy some brunch? …we were visiting and decided to try it out…we were warmly greeted by the hostess, and shown to our booth. Our extremely friendly server was prompt and took our orders…I ordered the scramble…it came warm, which was disappointing, because it was really good…the potatoes had a spice I couldn’t put my finger on, but it was the first time in my life I don’t devour them…but my biscuit on the other hand was absolutely fabulous….my boys loved the avocado toast and steak and eggs….did I mention our server was wonderful…these are easy fixes, try it out! Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The food had no seasoning. We got the scramble and biscuits and gravy and shared the banana French toast. For just the two of us it was almost 80.00 for breakfast. The food was not what I thought it would be. Very disappointed. Oh and the biscuit and gravy had a sweet taste and was not savory. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $50–100 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
Great food. Friendly service. Local and family-owned restaurant. I will definitely come back. I recommend reserving a table beforehand as they tend to get pretty busy. Definitely worth visiting. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A friend and I decided to try Morning Fork for brunch because of the great reviews. We were not as impressed as everyone else. I was a little tentative because the website states time limits on seating, which I find odd. I will say it is a nice atmosphere when it isn't full (our reservation was 10 am), but by the time we left at 11, the place was packed and it was extremely loud. The service was okay. We were greeted warmly and the server was pleasant. But once the food arrived, we didn't see the server again until the check was dropped off. No additional drinks were offered (presumably because they expect you to be done and gone in a limited time). This is not a place to go if you want to sit and catch up with friends over brunch. I had the Scramble with a side of the roasted garlic and cheddar grits. The fried potatoes had some type of seasoning that I did not love, but they were cooked perfectly. The grits had no seasoning (I didn't taste any garlic or cheddar in them), but were also cooked well. The Scramble had no seasoning except what the natural ingredients have (eggs, sausage, mushrooms, spinach), and there are no condiments on the table, so I couldn't even add salt or pepper. The eggs were a little dry, but not bad. I also ordered the double mimosa based on reviews...nothing to write home about. It was like every other mimosa I have had. My friend had the Short Ribs Benedict. All she said was "It's okay." She said it was kind of dry, so she definitely was not overly impressed. All in all, it wasn't a bad brunch but it wasn't anything special. It was pricey for the two of us, almost $70 before the tip (we each had one cocktail). It was an expensive, average breakfast. This was one of the best brunch places I have ever been too. Friendly staff! They take reservations! The food was fabulous. The hardest part was deciding what to get. I settled on the Short Rib Benedict with a side of candied bacon. My wife got the breakfast sandwich along with some biscuits and gravy. They were all excellent choices and we'd recommend each highly. This is a must do for brunch in Louisville! Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Candied Bacon
Enjoyed the short rib Benedict. A tad expensive imo, but a pleasant experience. Friendly service. Enjoyed the traditional eggs Benny as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

First time at this restaurant for brunch. We were seated outside and literally swarmed by flies. I started wondering if something had died in the weeds next to the table. We told the server and she said "that's what happens when you sit outside, Baby." Our food took much too long and we decided to leave. It took us 10-15 minutes to get our check. Twenty five dollars for two juices and a tea. My friend showed the manager pictures of the flies and he canceled the charge. Food came out cold and they're charging $5 for a drip coffee with refills which is steep if you ask me. Restaurant itself is lacking any kind of personality but our server was lovely and while it was cold the food did taste great. Maybe we hit them on a bad day.
