When entering the store, it's bright, inviting and the staff are friendly. I really enjoy the food here. This is probably my most favourite Fish n Chip shop in Rotorua. Every food item perfectly made. The items I love the most is the Camembert with cranberry sauce and the burgers. 👌🏽

Angus burger was only warm and very bland. Not at what was advertised. did not meet our expectations. very disappointed. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Honestly!!! the BEST fish n chips I have ever had. Beautiful and clean Well presented and obviously cooked in beautiful clean oil. My partner and I travel a lot and have tasted some great fishing chips in our time. But nothing compares to this beautiful family owned fish n chips. I was told of this fish n chips store by a friend who lives about 30 minutes out of rotorua and they travel from there home just to get these beautifully made fish n chips.

We were a bit hesitant about trying this takeaways as it isn't exactly in the best part of town but the food was great. Crumbed snapper was delicious, curly fries were great for the kids and all of the food was of a high standard. I would both recommend this place to others and go there again on our next trip.

Thought we would try Mitchell Downs as hadn't been there since the new owners took over. I'm really fussy with my takeaways but these were absolutely beautiful. I ordered a fresh fish burger and it had three pieces of fresh crumbled schnapper on it. My husband had fresh fish and oysters and they were all beautifully cooked and not greasy.

ANGUS burger is so good . just need to add some pickled gherkins and burger sauce. this is the new local chips and burger shop Service Take out

We bought a scoop of chips from here and at first sight we were slightly underwhelmed by the portion size for $3, however....they were really yummy! A mix of straight and crinkle cut and delicious crispy and fluffy chips. Happy to pay a smidge more for quality rather than quantity. We then bought a $20 meal (on a different occasion) which included $3 chips so tapped on an extra scoop. The meal was perfect! The batter in the fish was crispy, the potato fritters were cut thin enough so they were cooked through and the hot dog was also very tasty. Needless to say we had chips left over lol the service was good and we will definitely get F&C from here again.

Always fresh fish. Heaps of chips. Hot dogs are the best in town. Very clean place. Happy stuff. A bit more expensive then another fish @ Chip places. But well worth it.
