Lovely place with typical and absolutely delicious portuguese food. Not expensive and the owner is one of the nicest and most sympathetic persons I've ever found at a restaurant. He made sure that everything was to our liking and served us a ginja and two regional pastries in the end. This is a must go if you're in Caldas da Rainha

This is a very pleasant restaurantand for Portuguese standard a bit modern. Besides the regular menu, we didn't look at it, there were 5 options and those were very interesting. We chose the vaca, chicken and octopus and all of them were delicious. Miguel and Estrela spoke good English and we are definitely going back there to enjoy more lovely food. Fantastic café and restaurant just outside Caldas da Rainha for those looking for an authentic, Portuguese experience. Very friendly and helpful owners who welcome you whether you´re there for a 3 course meal or just a coffee and cake. The restaurant is cosy inside in winter and the patio has sun umbrellas for summer dining. It´s very well priced - what´s not to like?

A mid week evening out with friends. We all had different meals and we were all delighted with the food, flavours and Gloria's service. We all had desserts and shared garaff's of red and white wine. All at the bargain price of €60. Miguel brought us Ginja and small pastries to finish the evening off. This place is a bit off the beaten track but definitely worth the visit. We will certainly be back. Thank you to Miguel and his staff.

This is a lovely cafe situated in Torre which is a friendly village on the edge of Caldas da Rainha. The cafe is frequented by a mix of locals and folk from away. There is always a friendly greeting. Good food, nicely served. They have a nice outside eating area where you can sit and watch the world go by and also inside "cafe" seating and a more formal dining area if you want to enjoy an evening meal.

The food is fresh, good quality and made with care. The owners and local people who regularly visit are so friendly. The cafe seems to be always buzzing... a great family run cafe. 5 stars.
