Probably the worst smorgasbord Chinese I have had. The black bean beef was inedible and had we not gone 20ks up the road would have been returned. Most of the other selection was dry and flavourless. Bought the sweet n sour chicken 😔, not impressed at all, chicken batter soggy and uncooked and tasteless sauce mix. Lady who served us sour faced. First and last visit for me. Sorry but wouldnt recommend. Way overpriced, $20 for S & S and another $6 for small steamed rice, wouldnt have minded so much if the food was decent but it WASNT. Went to Ming Yees last night. Got the smorgasbord as they refused to cook fresh… It was DISGUSTING. Not sure how long it had been sitting in the warmers. No flavour and the owners manner was very rude… Never ever again will I support this restaurant.. Thought in time they may have changed but they haven’t… Disgusting, tasteless dried up food..

We visited Gisborne and arrived at around dinner time so we just quickly looked around for a Chinese restaurant and we found this. The lady in the cashier is quite rude to the customers. She was really grumpy to be doing the front job. When we started ordering the first dish from the menu, she said that it’s not available. Lady, you better study and improve your customer service satisfaction skills. 😡
