Inefficiency. There are at least 12 employees working this Saturday morning. It took about 10 minutes once I got in line to place my order. It was another 28 minutes before I received it. Room was full of customers waiting for their food. One cashier taking orders probably could care less the length of line. 7 people working in the back making sandwiches couldn't keep up. FINALLY! Mendocino farms in my backyard! I LOVE mendo. It is hands down the best Sandwich/Salad option if there is one in your area. The service is Chick-Fil-A/In-in-Out level good and the food is just out of this world. I have tried most of the items on the menu and you can't go wrong with any of it. Glad they came in to recently opened Walnut Creek location as we are constant at San Ramon city center. Unfortunately, outside of the location being new, the salad recipes definitely need to be fine tuned. First and foremost on the second day of opening, they are out of the Thai mango salad! Really? This is one of the Mendocino’s trump cards… Mediterranean crunch salad had definitely something spoiled in it on the bottom that once I’ve grabbed the beans, I couldn’t touch them anymore. It smelled sad! Cute, exciting and happy greeting from the host really pleased our company. Thank you for that. The seat with artificial grass cover did add a good touch to a design. However, the top edge of the back of the seat has the metal edge that can be harmful to your active baby. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

This was the 2nd day they were open. They have a lot of staff helping. While waiting in line for 20 minutes, an employee welcomed me and asked if I had any questions about the menu. I told him what I was planning to order, and he suggested adding avacado to cool the spice. Good idea. I placed my order with another friendly employee who gave me a free cookie since I waited so long and tried to come yesterday, but the line was out the door. I found a table where I had to scan the table bar code and enter my receipt # so they know where to deliver my food. The seat was interesting. It was fake grass. Had some green juice (very good) and my chicken procutto panini sandwich and small macaroni salad. The place was noisy, and I think they were having an air conditioning issue as they had 2 portable units. Everyone was offering to help. I'll be back when it quiets down. I came in Monday 2/19 and the vibe of this establishment was amazing!!! ❤️ my sandwich was delectable and made with love (recommended by the very sweet and professional manager with dark hair and tattoos.). The restaurant was clean and clearly taken care of. I will definitely be back! Thank you for proving that great customer service still exists in this day and time. Truly impressed. Second day in a row coming here as their food is great and fresh, reasonable prices. Had pork belly banh mi today with curried couscous and house-made lemonade. Tasty sandwich and definitely has some good heat in the spicy sauce. My only concern is that it took about 40 mins getting a take-out during lunch time at 11:15. Cashier seems to not have been familiar with the ordering process and taking a long time per customer. Manager was next to the cashier constantly. I asked for utensils but it was not on the to-go check list and of course not in my bag. Would suggest they do more staff/cashier training on their off-hour so they could learn to trouble shoot or go through the menu options slowly. Mistakes made easily when the staff are under pressure. The order line was so long people were standing in the parking lot out of the door.

I arrived in the morning to try the food for the first time with my daughter, from Mendocino Farm. I ordered a salad and a sandwich, the salad was the first one I received and I really loved it, it was very delicious...however my daughter waited longer to receive her sandwich, also it took us 20 more minutes the sandwich came cold.the atmosphere It is pleasant but the wait we had for the sandwich was not... I also noticed that the employees do not usually change their gloves constantly, however to my relief I noticed that the salad lady did. Everything is fine, just improve that and I don't know why it took so long if the place was almost empty but it is delicious. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We received the wrong order via DashDoor and they wouldn’t refund. This was clearly the mistake by the restaurant. The receipt on the left is our order attached to the bag and the recipe on the right is what we received, mango salad ordered by someone else. We got the wrong salad and never got our sandwich nor refund. Unacceptable. Service Delivery Service: 1

Their food is pretty good but they seem unorganized and they've made a mistake every time I've ordered from them (3x). Today was my strike out moment - my husband's salad asked for no cheese, there was cheese. I got the "not so fried" chicken - salad style (it's a sandwich) and there was *no chicken* 😮‍💨. Their other mistake worked in our favor, as they put a container of couscous in our bag that we had already grabbed from the front at checkout, but I'm confused why them have them at front if they also add them to the bag. Higher end fast food sandwiches with some unique flavors like the teriyaki chicken sandwich. Unfortunately, the service is terrible for people ordering and eating on premises. Once I placed my order, the wait was 30minutes. Might have been longer if I didn’t check in on it. They seem overwhelmed by online orders and the manager apologetically said they do not give priority to patrons who dine in. This seems contrary to comparable restaurants who pause online orders if they can’t keep up with serving the people in front of them. To the manager’s credit they gave me a refund.
