Almost every time I go here my food is messed up or I have to wait an excessive amount of time (20 minutes for a couple cups of mac sauce). Last time they gave me someone else's food and I didn't realize until I had made the 20 minute drive home; I received a 4 piece and small fry instead of the 2 large fries and mcdoubles I had ordered. They also failed to try and make it right when made aware of the issue. This time, they had my food right but this was my burger; a shredded and incomplete meat patty. I understand that places get busy but this is McDonald’s! We waited over a half hour for a kids meal and a sandwich and when asked to speak to a manager I was told “no” and the cashier walked away from me. I overheard the manager tell people who waited an hour for food and asked for a refund say “sorry for the wait but we issued you your food.” Avoid this McDonald’s. I loved the customer service here!! The young black gentleman taking my order was so sweet and made me smile. I enjoy coming in to a restaurant and the employees have a positive attitude!! He also helped me by getting my ketchup and as we were leaving, he opened the doors...very sweet!! Thank you!! They gave interactive tables for kids and a neat play scape.

Reading lots of negative reviews. Owatonna McDonald's is solid though. I get smiles from the drive-thru staff almost all the time. If you use their app, the whole process goes smooth. I can't fault McDonald's for the Vikings not scoring two touchdowns. Thank you to the courteous workers who make me glad to return often. Keep it up! Service is now do it yourself. Use the computer touch screen to place your order and then move up to the counter to pay. Food came out quite quickly and the restaurant was clean.
