Seriously 😳, the two girls behind the counter were rude! One taking orders and one expediting the food. Whenever a customer would walk up to get a refill on their drink, the one girl constantly rolled her eyes. You could tell she didn't want to be there! The floors were disgusting, food and grime all over it. Seriously need a good mopping. The food, soup and sandwich were delicious. The new rolled dogs, disgusting and overcooked. The fruit bowl was not fresh fruit. Sweet tea is absolutely delicious! My thoughts if the dining room was filled with trash food on the floor in everything else. What would the back kitchen look like? Not the food place that I enjoy eating at. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50

We used to love McAllisters for the good food and friendly service but we won’t be eating there again after our last visit in Summerville this past Saturday. Walking in the restaurant looked filthy, with tables not cleared and napkins all over the floor. My wife’s nachos had an old piece of chicken and a piece of dust on her plate! My knife was dirty and you could tell it had not been cleaned properly. If the standards are that poor in the restaurant itself, it makes you wonder about the standards of cleanliness in the kitchen. My wife gave feedback to the store via the website and she got a generic reply from a manager, which was full of excuses about new managers and staff members not being trained yet and that there is always a risk of cross contamination in their food. Cross contamination is a bit different to old food and dust! Gives the impression they don’t care about the low standards and there are way too many better choices to eat for us to even consider going back. Hard pass on this place

I ordered the 4 cheese and tomato on warm ciabatta bread and it was really good, and very filling. We had to clean the table ourselves, the week before we came and I ordered the carrot cake and it was amazing!!!! I order a chicken club sandwich with potato salad and It was delicious. Very well prepared and served. The reason why I give 4 stars is because cleanness is very important. The restaurant looked dirty specially the floor. There were a good amount of dirty tables with trash on them and the patio had trash flying all over. It is a nice spot and the food is good but they need to tight it up a little with the cleaning, specially now with this pandemic.

I placed an online curbside order. After sitting for 10+ minutes I called inside to let them know I was outside waiting. I told her my name then. She brought out the wrong to-go order. She went back inside to grab my order and came back with just a receipt saying my order was already picked up. They obviously gave my order to the wrong person so I had to wait for my order to be prepared again. After waiting 45 minutes for my order, she brings out the to-go bag. She has not apologized or even offered to give me a free tea/cookie while I waited. There was a man standing outside waiting for his ride (obviously in manager attire) he actually hollered and apologized for the inconvenience. Thanks, whatever. I finally get my to-go order all for it to be WRONG. I had to go inside (almost slipped on bread crusts and other food items on the floor) to get my missing soup, I asked for ciabatta bread and no tomatoes as I’m allergic. My bread wasn’t substituted and both the salad and sandwich had tomatoes on it. Needless to say I will NEVER return to this deli. I ordered at 3:34pm and didn’t get my food until 4:36pm. Not even a busy time for the restaurant. To say I’m displeased is an understatement. I used to work here many years ago and Dave would have never allowed this experience to happen. *sigh*...i wanted to add mcallister's to my regular restaurant rotation so badly. their chicken and berry salads, french dip sandwich, chili, and spudmax potato are all delicious options that my daughter and i love. but in a total of 4 visits between 2 locations within the same month, none of our orders were prepared correctly. we went to the azalea square location a few weeks ago. my daughter and i both made it abundantly clear that we do not consume pork products and requested that our potatoes be prepared with turkey, cheese and veggies only. we had a seat and waited about 15 minutes for potatoes that were served piled high with ham and bacon in addition to the turkey. second try was at the mcallister's at tanger. we ordered salads, sandwiches and chili. the cashier asked me if we would prefer the cup or bowl of chili, and my daughter asked for a cup. again, we wait 15-20 minutes for our food. everything except the chili was brought to us. when i asked about it, the server insisted that i never asked for chili and didn't include it in the order. ok?? no biggie, i ordered the chili again, and my daughter seemed to enjoy it. a few days later i was craving another spud max. it was a cold and rainy evening, so i ordered through uber eats. i left clear and concise instructions to please leave off the pork components but add extra turkey and cheese with the veggies. i was delivered a potato that was smothered in cheese and absolutely nothing else...the food is good, but life is too short. sorry mcallister's, guess ill stick to visiting once in a blue moon🤷🏾‍♀️ few Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

McAllisers is my favorite restaurant in Summerville. I love how convenient the app is and how easily I can customize our food without having to stand at the front of a long line and panic about remembering everything I need. The food is always made very quickly and delivered to the table, and the staff is always happy to provide you anything else you need. The only thing I could suggest is cleaning off the tables a bit faster. It's nice to know others enjoyed their meals, but seeing the same dirty plates your entire visit is a bit yick. Went here to grab lunch. Before ordering went to the restroom. The restroom was absolutely filthy!!!! Dirt and trash all over the floor. Toilets looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in days. Poop and stains all over. Giant roach floating alive in the toilet. I can’t imagine that a place with a restroom that dirty would have a kitchen clean enough to order food from. We immediately left. Appreciated BOGO for National Sandwich Day. Tried spicy southwest chicken sandwich for the first time and loved it. I was intrigued by homestyle lasagna soup and very pleased with that, too. McAlister’s club packaged to go will be my lunch tomorrow. Potential issue with a coupon code I displayed on my phone but lost before checkout was skillfully resolved by the cashier who entered my phone number instead. Thanks!
