Beautiful outdoors . Quiet environment surrounded with Flora . Owner very friendly, workers too. |I loved the short stay . ||Linen needs upgrade. This is a bush cottage so don’t expect more than that. Also don’t expect to see any animals for there’s none.

We booked in for 2 nights at the lodge, stayed in one of their rooms in the main lodge. Our host was Charles and he just went over and above to make us feel comfortable and made sure everything was accessible to us. We went canoeing on both days we were there, also an absolutely stunning experience. Their breakfast was presented beautifully and served with a smile by Charles himself. They do the best they can with what they have and it was truly a wonderful stay. Can’t wait to come visit again.

We booked the Bush cottage for two nights for a family of 4. The environment is generally good. Went for a game drive which was worthwhile and the tour guide educated u lot...mny thanks to Tawanda and Martin Ncube.||My teens enjoyed the zip lining and canoeing activities.||My major area of concern though is the accommodation and facilities at the cottage. There is need for urgent refurbishment of the rooms..may be repainting...change of beds. The grass thatch is falling off. The kitchen utensils and electrical gadgets are to say the least an eye soar. The counter top is broken and wet so chances of bacteria there are very high.||Of the 4 very small tea cups two did not have handles, no chopping board, no cereal plates, no tumblers or water glasses. One dish towel which was very dirty. With such a kitchen what it means is one has to bring own kitchen stuff and the self catering component falls away..||Lucky for me I had brought most of the kitchen stuff after a similar experience earlier at another lodge.||In this Covid era the management need to have disinfectants etc in the toilets. Hygiene practice is lacking here.||Your cleaners need to do a thorough cleaning before guests check in. Toilet had spider webs. And the shower curtain has black moulds...its bette have it removed.||Please do something about your cottages they are a health hazard...

We went to see the place for a quick day trip and only spent a few hours. First, the road to get there is terrible, we paid 20$ one way to get there (per car) and probably those folks needed to check the cars afterward. But the place itself is nice for a day trip. We went on a small safari in the special jeeps - the prices were very fine considering there were 7 of us. We only saw a few animals as most of them were somewhere else eating. But we got very close. The guide was very fun and nice and taught us a lot about the animals, places and plants. We saw all sorts of cool stuff, including plants, rock paintings (they should be better preserved though), and rock formations. Overall, nice place even though it needs a bit of a facelift. Also it would be nice to have more souvenirs.

Visited the picnic area for braai as a day visitor. There is wide space for relaxing and playing games as a family, but the place looks like it has been neglected for a long time. The toilets need to be upgraded and water taps need attention. The drought has not been kind to them as water levels in the dam were at very low levels at the time of my visit, however this can change with some good rains falling.

Serene dam area. Staff is friendly especially catering. Didn't get a chance to go game viewing but saw the animals going for a drink and it was amazing. Pool area is perfect and picnic area is also perfect for braaing and games.

A home away from home. We were made to feel so comfortable and welcomed. Dinner and breakfast were great even for our little fussy eaters. Beautiful location for a pool on top of a rock. The game was good with a well informed guide. It's a shame some locals are chopping off the trees for firewood illegally
It was amazing. The Staff was absolutely fabulous and so enthusiastic. The Zip lining was fun and the facilities are well maintained. The only regret was the pool not being functional but I loved it...
