For an authentic Syrian meal, try Maze Restaurant. The restaurant is very simple, so don't expect table cloths or much of a luxury. But, the food is great, We ordered the mixed appetizer and mixed grill for 4 people, which was more than enough for us (and would have been more than enough for 4). The chicken kababs and grilled lamb were particularly memorable. Large portions, great flavors and friendly service makes this a memorable meal.
