Below average food and some of the slowest service; thought the waitstaff are friendly enough when they do bother coming around to your table. Food is overhyped and way overpriced for what you get. I can recommend the Halawet el jibn for desert however! The ambiance is really what you are paying double for. Excellent food. The lentils soup is very rich and flavoured, served with pita bread croutons that add a beautiful crunchy texture. The surprising combination of hummus, beef and roasted caju is served with home made warm pita bread. Delicious. Excellent place. Authentic food, unique taste, very delicious. The lemonade is a very good option for kids. Food was good, service was fine, but we were charged approx 100 RON more, several plus cocktails were added to our receipt that we did not order. After we made the reclamation, the waiter was not surprised at all and paid back the extra in cash. This seems to be systematic, pay attention people. The place is a truly unique experience in the city. The cuisine was very new, we've never eaten Lebanese food before. I recommend trying out the strawberry, pistaccio baclava dessert and also the chicken liver with pomegranate sauce. Both are terrific. The service is well beyond par too, especially when booking tables in advance. They even greeted us at the entrance, like they've been waiting for us exactly. We went home as very pleased customers. The place looks good but pretty basic...would have liked to see some authentic Lebanese decorations. The food was tasty and plentiful. Could feel the high quality olive oil in the dishes. (I'm convinced that my ground beef skewers had some lamb mixed in but it was still ok). The flatbread felt like frozen greek pitas which was disappointing, but the kunafa was extraordinary so all is forgiven. Would recommend! Just amazing. The flavours are dancing without rest on every tongue. The vibes are immaculate, and last but not least the freshness of the ingridients is out of this world. The passion that they put into the making of this special foods is unimaginable. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a fresh, tasty and healthy meal, to go or to stay.
