Local African style restaurant, far off the tarmac, and definitely off the beaten track. Mostly grilled seafood on the menu. Don't expect fast service at a beach restaurant like this. You won't get it, and not an impressive wine list either. The seafood is fresh from the ocean, though, and done to perfection. That is why Mayungu Beach Restaurant should be on your list!

Absolutely delicious food! Beautiful setting, amazing staff. A must visit if you’re in the area. Don’t let the weather put you off, it is very comfortable even in the rain (which was the case for us) and I would imagine it would be even more incredible in the sunshine! There are beautiful beach loungers and umbrellas in front of the restaurant! 😍

If you are looking for a place to enjoy your kienyeji chicken as you take in the beautiful scenery, and the ocean breeze, you may consider this place. Spacious lounge area enough for you and your family/ friends.

Fresh sea food in a platter... fish, squid, octopus. A beautiful and clean beach. Have the lunch and relax and watch the beach as water starts to come back. Very relaxing!
