This is a great bakery and cafe with a lot of options. I really love their cafe de olla, but the lattes are pretty good as well. The pastries are very well made, with really high-quality breads. I love the chocolate twist the most! It’s classic Mexican baking in the sense that the pastries aren’t overly sweet, which I appreciate. The interior of the bakery is also really aesthetically beautiful! It’s a very pleasant place to sit and hang out for a while. The Wi-Fi is also very good. Definitely a spot to try out for breakfast when in Oaxaca. It’s also nice to note that the Botanical Gardens are right next door.
Highly recommend to stop by here for a local experience. Had a delicious Guayaba pastry, coffee and the best part was the Atole. The atole is a local drink made of corn. They have different flavors if you want to try one (I had the chocolate and it was really good). You can also do a tasting of 4 different flavors. The place is also beautiful and has a great atmosphere. You can buy pastries to go as well.
Food was good though I didn’t think the beef tongue with mole was tender. The tetelas didn’t taste as fresh as I expected nor the complementary memelas. I tried the guayabo atole and it was good though I would have preferred it a bit sweeter. Their pastries are good! They have a great rooftop on the third floor!
Would Return. Worth Trying. A really cool bakery attached next to a well known Mole place. Only tried their Chocolate Coffee Cream Tart, which was light, not too sweet, and well balanced between coffee and chocolate. Reasonable pricing. Would love to try more. Cash and Card.

So lovely! The space is beautiful and airy, the bakery is small but cute. We didn't check out the upstairs patio/dining area. We ordered the flight of atole and a chocolate twist. I've never had atole before, but it was really delicious and comforting. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Quite probably one of the best bakeries in Oaxaca. And yes, that's saying quite a bit (boulenc anyone?), but I stand by the statement. The bread products are Just Right - crisp where they need to be crisp, soft on the inside, flavored just right, and never ever tough. The doughnut like things are particularly awesome, with filling that actually *don't* take of Artificial. And yeah, the pastries are well worth it too! Mind you, the earlier you get there, the better, you really want these freshish...

This is one of those places you found and don't want to go anywhere else. All pastries, bread and coffee are amazing. The staff is very polite and speaks english if that matters. Interior and music are simple and chic. Amor!
