Marlin Azul, located in La Ventana, is a Mexican establishment that serves delicious cuisine at affordable prices. The ambiance is family-friendly and casual, perfect for a relaxing meal after a day of activities. The interior design is simple yet tasteful, with tables and chairs set up under a large palapa. Prices are reasonable, with dishes ranging from 130 to 350 pesos. One of the special features of Marlin Azul is its pool, which is available for customers to use while they dine. The menu has a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some popular dishes include the Chile Rellenos, Papa Rellena con Camarones a la Diabla, and Pescado al Coco. For drinks, the Mango Margaritas and Micheladas are highly recommended. The service at this fine dining spot is excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. The portions are generous, making it easy to share dishes. While some customers have noted slow service at times, the quality of the food and overall experience make it well worth the wait. Overall, Marlin Azul is a great choice for those looking for good food, reasonable prices, and a relaxed atmosphere.

These folks are awesome. Even with a power outage they were pleasant and open to serving drinks and chips in the dark! My kind of peeps. They even gave a go at a Caesar for me! Service Dine in Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

UPDATE: October 2023: I ordered the shrimp combo (combinación azul?) and my usual mango margarita. The combo comes with two stuffed shrimp (empanizados), two coconut, and two breaded, and I could only finish the side salad and stuffed ones. They were very Rick and flavorful, and SO filling. My mom ordered the house frozen margarita, and as with most margaritas here in Mexico, it was on the tart side but not as tart as some others we've had down here. My mom ordered a cheese quesadilla but added chicken and said it was one of the best she's ever had. Their mashed potatoes are fantastic too!! January 2022: This place is FANTASTIC! The prices are slightly high compared to a lot of other local fare, but you get huge portions! I went twice in the four weeks I was in town. I almost always get the coconut shrimp. They're delicious and pretty decently sized. It's served with a small side salad and delicious mashed potatoes. The first time we went, my grandpa got their burger (one of his usuals), and it was probably one of the top ten best burgers I've ever tasted, and burgers are one of my favorite things to get in the States. It's also enormous. He managed to finish it, but it could probably easily feed two people. Their table salsa is delicious! I'm also a big fan of their mango margaritas. I tend to like them on the sweeter side, and theirs definitely is, but I'm pretty sure the only other thing they add is the liquor. Delicious! I highly recommend! April 2021: I got the rib and shrimp plate, and oh my! So good!! I love the salsa too. This is my new favorite restaurant in the area. This was a good restaurant. Some employees speak English and some don't. Good happy hour until 4pm to 6pm. Three margaritas for the price of 2. Food is good and portions are large. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100–200 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

This is a secret place because it is located far away from the city. Priceless. It is one of the best places in Baja. I am grateful to be a customer for many years. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We had the mole (rice beans and chicken) and the regular hamburger - the regular hamburger comes with cheese and avocado so the only difference is the bacon on the ABC. Large portions! Great ambiance. Service was really slow on the night we were there - we’ve heard it’s usually faster. Would be back for the chicken soup and the mojitos! So good! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
Huge portions, for the food and the drinks !! Couldn't finish my plate. I took the marlin azul combinacion of shrips and it was pretty good (I personally didn't like that much the emperor shrimp, its the one wrapped in bacon on the picture). My mango margarita was delicious! A bit more expensive than other places, but still a very good place to eat! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
Great food, prepare for a long wait if it's busy! This is one of the nicest restaurants in LV. There's a huge menu too. We both shared this big plate and had leftovers to take home. The lemonade is amazing Service Dine in
This restaurant was great as they were courteous enough to facilitate us by preparing our catch of the day Mahi mahi, in three different presentations, which was delicious. Everyone was delightfully satisfied with their presentation of the food. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $300–400 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Fish
