I patiently waited 30min for a grinder and soup. Just happened to be in the neighborhood, on my lunch break. I'll stick to the Kalamazoo location from now on. It's way better. Food was ok but service was good. But I don't understand why a business needs to play politics. Like right on your front ordering screens is a CNN add bashing Trump. Love him or hate him he was a president of the the United States have some respect. Sick of businesses pushing a agenda and playing politics, personally I won't be back. Not the Mancino's I remember! We ordered 2 grinders, and a salad which I didn't get. Hardly any meat on the grinders, very little toppings. I ordered through Toast, but the receipts looked the same. I have always loved mancino's. This is the first less than quality sub I've gotten from them. I asked for extra cheese and black olives. The extra cheese and black olives were all piled at the end of the sandwich in a blob.. along with all the mayo. My order was a to-go order so I didn't discover this until I got home. My biggest gripe with the whole experience was the fact that they put to go orders on a table out in the middle of the dining room with no sign that says pick up orders and no heat lamp. Anybody can go up and take the food off the table because that's what I did and nobody questioned me. However first I went and stood at the counter for a minute with nobody acknowledging me. I looked around the room and saw the food sitting on that table and figured I'd go look and see if that was actually to go orders. And there was my name and my phone number and my email taped to the front of the box for everybody to see. It was just really not the experience I had previously with Mancino's. Mancinos is always a solid option for yummy food. The staff gets a little annoyed when you walk in close to closing time, until they realize you called ahead. 😂😂 They're always nice and the food is always yummy! I love Mancino grinders. They have a nice variety. The Bannister is one of my go to orders. Pizza is delicious. I've had their nachos too. I can't find anything to complain about. Disappointed! Picked up Chicken Nachos to go and the cheese and nacho chips were both so hard. Shredded cheese was hard like melted plastic and chips were hard like they used stale chips. Although I've never had chicken nachos from this restaurant, I've had shredded cheese nachos before. Unfortunately, they baked "my" order of nachos wayyyy too long. I live less than 10 mins away. Customer service lady asked me have I ever had their nachos before and was told I should have consumed them when they were hot. If not, the cheese would get hard. When asked if I could get my order re-made, I was told with an attitude no you just need to order for dine in next time. I even asked if I could exchange for a sandwich. No lunch for me, just fresh lettuce, tomatoes and olives on hard chicken nachos today. Overall the nachos look great, but definitely poor customer service. If I could give them no stars I would. I'm sure they could afford to give rotten customer service since there are only a few places worth eating at here in Battle Creek.
