I believe this is the spot. Manchester Mini Mart. Legit probably one of the best experiences I had in Zanzibar. This spot can not be missed if you're wanting some authentic local hangout. Everyone who we met there was polite and inviting making it one of the most memorable parts of our entire trip to Tanzania.
One final thing. We met these 2 dudes (the ones on the right in my photo I'm posting) If anyone knows them, feel free to reach out. I meant to get their info before we left and they were really great people to hangout with. The man in the center was a Teacher and his friend on the right was a mechanical/plumbing tradesman. They were working at Hotel Z on the water system. Anyway, its a longshot I know
Also Lastely, HUGE shoutout to the man who was running the cash. The man was always super nice and forgave a mzungu mistake I had made in not returning the empties one night. Much love to him and to this place!
Always return your empties folks!

Пиво 2$ ! Дешевле не находили! Это самое тусовосчное место как willing street в Паттайе. Все б. здесь. Напротив жарят шашлычки и банановые чипсы.
