Authentic and delicious Thai food. We went twice because it was so good and at the same time a very good price. You should definitely give it a try. It is a bit special but in a lovely way. A really special place for authentic Thai food. When I read that she cooks the food fresh I didn't realize that meant every detail - it was awesome to watch her cook (even spring rolls were made from scratch)! The massaman curry was out of this world! Perfect level of spice and amazing blend of flavors. Good portion size, and we couldn't believe how quickly it was ready considering it was all made then and there. Also, the price is ridoculously low for the quality. A hidden gem run by a lovely woman who cooks each meal to order. We went two nights in a row for dinner as it was so tasty and reasonably priced - every dish is 50 baht We were told to buy cans from the shop across the road and BYO as she doesn’t sell drinks (besides bottled water) here Highly recommend! You won’t be able to get enough of Mama’s, for real. Delicious and cheap, was only 50baht for Pad Thai! With a fresh cold smoothie, perfect to refuel the day after going out.

This has been the best food we have eaten in Thailand! Like other reviews have said, it doesn’t look like much from the street but a lady cooks each dish from scratch and can make all of them with tofu if you’re vegetarian. We went there twice in a row for dinner as we were just amazed at the taste, quality and price of the food (each dish 50 baht). The morning glory is a must we watched her run over the road to buy some fresh greens for it! Also, she has the timing perfect with mine and my partners dishes all arriving at the same time - something that has no happened much in our 9 weeks in SE Asia! We loved Mama’s Thaifood! The two ladies are so sweet and the food is delicious. My favorite was the pumpkin and egg, but the garlic and pepper chicken was delicious too! I found the kitchen to be very clean and hygienic as well. The fruit smoothies are refreshing with a meal. The price for all dishes is 50 THB, including rice, what a deal! They could absolutely charge more if they wanted. We would recommend them to anyone in the area! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Really nice Thai food! Probably one of the best tasting food of our trip so far! Stumbled across this place and overall really impressed! I've been to many places around Thailand over the years and I'm not lying when I say this is some of the best tasting Thai food I've had, nevermind that it's 50 baht per dish! Everything is delicious and not too oily and made from scratch but my favourites are the curries and in particular the phanaeng.
