We are staying at a nearby hotel but always prefer to explore & sample local restaurants, run by local people. The restaurant looked very quiet when we walked in but we were soon greeted by a friendly face & made welcome. I ordered the grilled fish with lemon & garlic. & my partner had the coconut crusted fish. Both dishes were cooked fresh to order & both were absolutely delicious. Super nice local restaurant - don’t miss the coconut crusted fish! The restaurant might look empty but just walk right in and the staff will give you a warm welcome. I can highly recomend this restaurant with its lovely staff. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great local restaurant. It is small and simple, food is very tasty and portions are big. As in every restaurant you need to wait around an hour to get the food done, but at that time you can relax on the beach. Best in Jambiani. Also the prices are low.

What an experience. Amazing coconut and peanut crusted dishes. If you're staying at a hotel nearby, give it a shot. We went after dark and the power was out. The place looked abandoned, but worry not the crew was just chilling in a hammock. They quickly got up and started serving us. There was no electricity so we had a nice oil lamp lit dinner. And what a dinner it was. The papaya salad was great, but the star of the show were the coconut crusted fish and peanut crusted tuna. Just amazing. The service also deserves a shout out. I had the coconut fish and fried calamari. Both were prepared fresh and tasted amazing. Don’t forget to add the chili sauce as a required side sauce with the coconut fish!! Such a great combo that needs to be harnessed!!! Looking forward to the continued success of this restaurant. Also we shared some jams!

Wonderful food. I tried the fresh juice (amazing, I could taste a hint on ginger as well) and the coconut fish with chips. Very large portions, beautifully cooked. I will definitely be coming back!
