Amazing restaurant/bar! It's a bit further from city centre but deffo worth coming! Staff is very communicative and helpful. Cozy atmosphere and good music vibe around, nice sea view! Food is tasty and not pricey at all! Menu has a lot options for everyone's taste. You can also get shisha in here!

This restaurant has been our favourite place to eat in Tangalle. It's located right on the beach and the family who runs it are just wonderful! They are always welcoming and so friendly. We've had breakfast, lunch and dinner here several times and the food and service is always excellent. Definitely drop by when in the area.

Not consistent. I ordered their chicken wrap and it was the size of something that would be served to a child on a kids menu and it wasnt actually that cheap for Sri Lankan standards @ 2,000 rupees. Are these people crazy that they think they can get away with serving child sized portions to adults paying practically ten dollars for a meal. I went to Hiriketia the next day and ate a beachfront restaurant and ordered a chicken wrap, and it was almost 3x the size of this place. It also had much more veggies than just grilled onions inside it. I feel like a lot of the restaurants in many places in Sri Lanka are not that economical when you consider the average wages of a mid-level office worker in Colombo is not even $200 dollars/month. If you're earning $200/month a $6-7 dollar chicken wrap must be insanely expensive. Just generally confused about the quality and pricing at tourist restaurants in Sri Lanka. Lots of small portions, lacking consistency, freshness and not economical if compared to the wages that Sri Lankan people earn. $6 USD, approx. 2,000 rupees for a tiny child sized chicken wrap is not acceptable. Either lower the price to match the fact that it's a child sized serving or make the wrap like you would see a wrap if you googled "chicken wrap" online. I don't really recommend this restaurant. 5/10 Food: 2 Service: 2

Great food, friendly service and beautiful views right on the beach. Perfect for lunch and dinner, or a beer on a sun lounge after a quick swim. Excellent location as well, as the breakwater is situated directly in front of the restaurant.

First time in Tangalle and YOU have to go!It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming.With amazing food and drinks. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.Unbelievable!

If you look for a cozy place near the beach, mallika is the place to go. You can have some food with your feet in the sand. The family who runs this place is lovely and gives great service. Food and drinks are great too! Thanks for having me, I’ll come back one day. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
