Imagine our surprise to find this lovely seaside restaurant open on a sleepy Wednesday night at the end of December! We were greeted with lovely enthusiasm and kindness by Taj, who recommended some really excellent dishes; ultimately we ordered an excellent catch of the day (grilled snapper) and a mushroom and marrow linguine that was really lovely. The portion sizes were VERY generous and the sides were as delicious as the mains. We regret not being able to try the seafood platter-- ask about it if you get a chance! One of the many restaurants by the shore, this brand new — two months old! In mid Oct-23 — Mal Moll pleasantly surprises with its friendly service, top food quality, and location-location-location! Look at the view!🤩 We had fried calamari and octopus and both done perfectly at the right point, good size potions, great wine list and beer options! We came for dinner at the end of October 2023. We were warmly welcomed with very attentive waiters. The food was incredible with generous portions. The food is exceptional and a great price! We were most impressed with the service. Our waiter Taj went above and beyond and created the best experience for us! We met a few locals dining there as well who said that it is their favourite restaurant in town - they weren’t wrong. Can’t wait to go back! This was easily the best meal I had during my time in Malta. The food was exceptional - I started with the Beef Tartare and had the Lamb Rack with veg for main, chocolate fondant for dessert - and the service was first rate. Attentive, engaged and polite. They served the best lamb rack I've ever had in my life; salted and cooked to tender perfection. The local wines were great, and the ambience on the waterfront could not be finer; it's like a film set. If you're on Gozo and looking for that special meal, this is the one. Amazing service, the food is from an other planet, the quality is of the highest level, this place is a must ! Our waiter was a gem and looked after us, 100% recommended We ordered the charcuterie platter with only cheese instead of meat and the platter that they brought us was incredible! See picture ! We had the most wonderful seafood platter here today on the last night of 2023. Service was excellent, seaside views are spectacular and a special mention to Taz whose attention to our needs and our comfort was a breath of fresh air.
