We were so lucky to have chanced upon this lovely family run business in Waipu! We were only visiting for a few weeks and we still managed to go there multiple times , thanks to the wonderful staff and the great authentic food on offer ! This is Indian comfort food at its best! The chef was happy to make adjustments for us to suit our South Indian palates and also a few things for our twin boys and we thought that was just so accommodating and lovely ! We ordered online. The order was ready and waiting for us when we arrived 20 minutes later. The service was bright, friendly and helpful. The food was fabulous. Tasty and very succulent. Abeszutifullayering of flavours that complemented each other. Not only that, but the prices were very reasonable. It was so good we went back the next night. We will definitely be coming back. The Service is extremely efficient and the Customer Service is impeccable! We were holiday in Kerikeri 3 years ago and went back to the same place to have dinner ! The food is scrumptious and tasty! Great food and range of dishes with good flavours and not too salty. Unfortunately having spent nearly $250 dine-in, the waitress asked whether we had finished 15 mins after main courses arrived and with food still in all dishes and our plates. She then said that they were closing because there were no more customers coming !!! Consistently delicious food, both dine in and takeaway, and friendly service. Lamb dopiaza and butter chicken are among our favourites, but it's worth trying the other dishes too! Madly Indian is a solid local bistro, great for both dine in and take away. We appreciate the late hours for dinner, serving till 9 pm, which makes it an after work favorite. Service is always friendly and the take away food has generous portions and is well wrapped and packaged - always makes it home in good condition. We have a few favorites on the menu but are still working our way through all the choices and everything we have tried has been tasty. I’m sure they cater to every spice level requested but we enjoy spicy food and have been happy with the medium and hot spice levels. The naan is so fresh and fluffy. Favorites - saag paneer, aloo zeera, any of the vindaloo, and the vegetarian pakoras.
