Beautiful setting overlooking the ocean and island wildlife. We saw an iguana and the waitress let us explore the view of the ocean while we waited for our food. Service was kind and attentive. We got the tofu rice bowl and avocado toast.. both were out of this world! So flavorful yet light. We left feeling satisfied and nourished. This place is a great option if you are a vegetarian looking for a yummy meal on the island. Price per person $900–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Rice Bowls
Artisanal food and quality ingredients -Good food made with love -great view (bluest ocean right across the street) Our favorites: -shrimp lettuce tacos -Spicy tuna bowl -Pork belly bowl -Burger -Brownie with homemade blueberry sorbet Food: 5 Service: 4
Fantastic place. I had the chicken rice bowl and it was the best rice bowl I've had in years. However not all of the appetizers are up to the same level, I'd give the pickled veggies a 4/10, which brings the food down to a 4 star, but the entrees were great. Staff were polite and extremely responsive. Could not ask for more. It is somewhat expensive compared to most places in Cancun outside the hotel zone but seems about par for isla mujeres. We paid 490 MXP (~24usd) for two drinks and entrees and one small side. Given the portion size was fairly small(but adequate), this is somewhat expensive compared to local food. Was well worth it though. The attached art showroom is pretty cool, and it seems all the carvings and sculptures there are made by a single local craftsman. Pull up your golf cart and have a bite. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. When we went,, we were delighted to get the last burger of the day and a chicken/steak rice bowl. Everything was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. Apparently the chef really takes the time to prepare the food with care. Our server said he makes mayo and buns rom scratch every day! Super impressive. I loved being able to view the handcrafted art even if it wasn't within my budget. This is a little gem on the island. Don't miss it!
We were recommended to come to Madera by the Isla Brewing Co for great food and to check out the gallery. We wanted a place away from the tourist shops and to buy some local art to take home. We started with the spicy shrimp and stuffed avocado with a couple cheladas. Service was very nice and fun to chat with. Food and drinks were fresh. Next we decided to try the burger that was their version of a Big Mac. Omg this was like heaven in my mouth 😂 it was the best burger I’ve had in a long time!! The gallery was unique and fun to look at. The worker was helpful to talk about everything and help us pick out some wood pieces and jewelry. My partner bought me a beautiful silver opal ring that is my favorite item from our entire trip!! Can’t wait to come back.
WOW - Incredible food, great service, delightful view. I had the burger - literally one of the best burgers that I have ever had in my life. The spicy shrimp bites were amazing. I HIGHLY recommend making Madera Food and Art part of your island experience.
When going to punta sur with your golf cart you must stop here. Perfect for that lunch or snacks before returning to the north city center. Nice gallery with amazing local art apparently. Food was amazing, drinks and staff really helpful, friendly and welcoming. We arrived at 12, right at opening time. Perfect because there was nobody and we could get some suggestions without a hurry. We drink mojitos that where perfectly really cold. We ate three lettuce bites because we love it. Both tuna and shrimp were really good and fresh. The shrimp one is a bit spicy. We also asked for the smashed avocado which is made on top of a sourdough bread. Really different from all the guacamoles you always get around cancun. Total was 900MX really worth it. We will come back!

The best burger on the planet. Really. Like a super high quality Big Mac. Rice bowl prob the best ever too. We have come back to isla 3x times for this burger. Be friendly and patient; not like the pissy tourist crowd. You’ll be blown away. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chicken Rice Bowl
Ordered the hamburger and the shrimp burger both were excellent. Went back towards the end of our trip and had the shrimp burger again. This time it was so spicy. Not sure about why it was so inconsistent. Loved it the first time, not so much the second time I had it. The tuna stuffed avocado was delicious.

Both the food and drinks were excellent. Interesting take on guacamole that was fantastic. Also good drinks. View of the ocean. Cute spot. Art shop next door.
