There are a lot of different places you can stop for peaches. This is the one we happened upon. Pretty expensive for a roadside peach stand. Take note though. They have multiple grades of peaches, and the only ones you see on display are the top grade ones. The lower grade ones are really not in bad shape at all based on what was shown to me. They are significantly cheaper, maybe check that out.
There's some other little knick knacks in there like of jelly's, jams, etc. Service was reasonably friendly.
Loss of stars because a peach stand should be a cool chill place to get peaches. That's not going to break your budget. Seemed a bit too profit maximizing to fit my tastes and preferences.
Stopped on way out of town cause we heard peach ice cream was delicious - it truly was!! However, we bought two buckets of peaches for $50 and unfortunately, two days later, they are totally bruised, skin is coming off, juice is being expelled, etc. We bought a lot to give to neighbors and we are not able to share any at all cause they look terrible. Extremely disappointing and a waste of money! They do not take credit cards, but I sure did not see that posted anywhere. Got to the checkout and total was nearly $100. They had little post-its on the edge of the counter saying they take venmo and paypal. I asked how to do paypal since I have an account, but the cashier had no idea. I had to pay cash. Then, I was looking at the receipt when I got in the car and discovered that on three jars of peach cobbler, I was charged 150% of price marked on the shelf. I went back in and the cashier gladly offered a refund but then she did not know how to do it in the register so that took another 10 minutes. Luckily, I was eating the delicious ice cream through all these frustrations so it made it a little less miserable!
Loved stopping here with my friend. Of course we're from out of town, but got some great peaches and other goodies even though it was a rough season for them.
Hands down best customer service! Such friendly staff and the married cobler was amazing the mini cobler loaves were just perfection!
They take credit/debit cards
Stopped in just to buy peaches but ended up buying so much more. My purchase included three different types of honey sticks so we could taste all the different flavors of honey. It was not easy finally deciding on just one bottle of honey. Then of course we also had to have peach perseveres too. The lady working was friendly and patient as we too our time to look at every single item in the store.
Great items! Peaches were good, for being so late in the season. Tomatoes were to die for delicious. Bought a jar a BlackBerry butter, didn't much care for that too much. Won't buy it again, but that's a personal preference. Just didn't care for the texture, and it's much thicker than apple butter, and it was brown. Will definitely continue to shop here, try other things, and buy fruit and produce!
All tourists should stop at this store. The owner's daughter treated us like family. For $6.50, you get about 15 sweet peaches or so. They also have homemade peach cobbler and peach ice cream. Everything made fresh to serve to us.
