Phenomenal Food! From the crisp tortilla chips & yummy salsa to the chicken & steak fajitas, all dishes tasted fresh. The rice was flavorful, too. The menu was priced fairly (1 pound of chicken/beef with sautéed onions, peppers, beans, rice, sour cream, cheese, pico & guacamole with 2 drinks -$61 bucks plus tip). You can get about 6-8 fajitas out of the meal pictured. Shout out to our waitress Sharlene! She was very helpful. I would definitely eat here again when in Texas.

My husband had never been to Lupe’s and it had been at least 25+ years since I had. Well this was such an unforgettable visit. The restaurant was completely packed but we were seated promptly. The service was excellent, the Classic Margarita was so delicious. Yummy Yummy Yummy.
The food was outstanding! Saying that the food was flavorful is an understatement. Our food was so delicious. The wait staff was attentive without being intrusive. My husband and I will definitely be back!!

Food and overall service is great! My reasoning for a 3 star rating had to do with a miscommunication per se. We ordered a 1/2lbs of beef fajitas but were given and charged for a 1lbs. I honestly couldn’t tell the difference between a 1/2lbs and 1lbs of meat when we received our food so I didn’t know anything was wrong until we received our bill. The manager was very professional and understanding about the situation. It was just something that irked me when she said the waitress “wrote down our order” but that was not the case. The waitress took our order from memory and seemed like something she said to save herself from the error she made. She even asked me to repeat myself as it seemed she didn’t remember what we ordered. I had the menu in my hand when we ordered and pointed at each item especially the 1/2lbs of beef fajitas because the price difference is considerable. Although I paid for the 1lbs after the conversation, paying for what was given isn't necessarily the issue as it was delicious, but it just rubs me the wrong way how the server particularly handled the situation instead of owning up to the mistake, she doubles down knowing most likely she put in the wrong order. This doesn’t at all effect my patronage at Lupe, I believe it was just a lapse in communication.

This was my first experience here, my husband recommended it since he had been a time before. Everything from the free chips, salsa & bean dip, to the queso (with a side of jalapeños!!!) and the dishes were very flavorful! We will be back to try other dishes; the service was exceptional.

Great place with amazing service. Went during happy hour unknowingly and was met by a huge bowl of nachos with 3 dips. Beer was cold and tasty, and the Pablo / Patron plate was enormous. I barely finished half of it and I went in hungry as hell. The server Joselin was incredibly nice and hospitable. Definitely recommend the place.

This location is definitely going down hill fast! Service is absolutely HORRIBLE from the hostess to the bartender. The food quality is always great however bad service trumps it all. I ordered a regular ribs which comes with rice and salad. I asked could i sub the salad out for beans. as you can tell by the picture i did receive the beans but absolutely no rice. it took the bartender atleast 20 mins to bring rice but the rice was not the side of rice that comes with the order but rice and beans pictured as if i needed more beans. additionally, the bartender took another 20 minutes to bring one tortilla. Bartender never brought sour cream. 35 minutes into having my food. I asked where the sour cream was. She goes. Oh I forgot. Also I had to keep asking. Could I order a drink? drinks were horrible. bartender tended to everyone else at the bar but for some reason didn't feel that we were patrons she wanted to assist. The overall experience just was not good today. The water at this location taste like pure dirt. It's always nasty. We asked for a table off in the corner, and they stated no one could sit there, however, proceeded to sit other people there. The host closed all the blinds, even though we were not the only patrons who complained. They stated that they were being bothered by the sun at the station, even though they hadn't been standing there. There was a manager who my friend did speak with about his concerns as well her name was Jocelyn. She was so nice. But this location is just not as good as they used to be. Really love the food but the service is horrible and I'm not sure if we'll be back. I prefer good service and to receive the order I paid for and not to feel like im bothering the server for trying to receive that order.

Lupe made some major changes since my last visit. They expanded the bar area and it looks great! Now, instead of one crowded strip, the area is a square with the bartender inside the middle portion. It really looks great! They needed that remodel for sure. No bar today, but I do like knowing this was revamped for a future date.
I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed with Lupe Tortilla. They have delicious food and big portions (even for lunch). I rate my Tex-Mex by chips and salsa, since to me, that can be a meal in itself. Their chips are thin and the salsa is smokey. I love it! They also have the warm salsa with beans. It’s okay, but I prefer the smokey one. It is served cold, but next time I might ask them to warm it. I think that would make it even better.
For my entrée, I had The Pedro. It comes with a beef enchilada, a cheese enchilada, plus rice and beans. It was very good. I love the chili sauce on top of the enchiladas. The sweet tea with lemon was pretty good too.
Our waiter seemed a little distracted today. We had to ask several times for the same item. We were only a party of 3, but he had a larger group sitting near our table. I can give grace on this because he was very nice. Just needed to be a little more focused.
The restarant is pretty noisy, so be prepared for that. I prefer quieter places, but I love their food, so it's a trade off. :)
All in all, we enjoyed our meal and the chance to get out of the office. Well done, LT – and again, THAT BAR! Beautiful!!

Stop in for a late lunch. Our server was terrific. He was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and respectful. We ordered watermelon mint margaritas. They were delicious and refreshing. The chips and salsa were mouth-watering. The food was okay. The shrimp was overcooked, and the rice just didn't suit our taste buds. I took one star away because of the food.

Not all Lupe Tortilla caters a Brunch menu but the bunker hill location does and it's Amazing. I did visit during the weekend so I'm not sure it's offered daily but it's definitely my new favorite spot.
