I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who’s looking for good Italian/Filipino food at reasonable prices in town. It would be a perfect place to take your family or friends out to eat if you’re celebrating an event like someone’s birthday... the food itself is amazing 👏

Restaurants are a fickle business. One bad meal and even loyal customers will become disgruntled customers. To survive you better have consistently good food and satisfied customers. I found Luka’s disappointing.
I had Lasagna and it reminded me of French restaurants in the states. That is, double the price and halve the portion.
While 420 pesos isn’t exhorbitant for Lasagna, the portion made a child’s portion look big. Honestly, I thought it was a joke. The hostess/ hawker tried to rational the price and portion by telling me food was expensive in El Nido. Not an excuse that left me in good humor. I did eat at Bella Vita, which has a wonderful sea view and a generous portions. I had the Spaghetti Bolognese.
The decor at Luka’s is spartan with square wooden tables and wooden chairs. I would characterize it as simple, utilitarian with zero ambience.
There definitely are good Italian restaurants in El Nido ( Bella Vita is one) and Luka’s is not.

We stumbled upon this newly opened restaurant while navigating the various touristy eateries, gift shops, and tour agencies.
We were looking for simple Filipino food, fresh, and reasonably priced.
We felt so lucky to find this place and the super friendly owner who welcomed us like friends of the family.
They have traditional Filipino dishes, along with a menu of Italian food.
We ordered one of the combinations, which was good for four people, and included sinigang, pancit Canton, grilled tuna, rice, etc.
It was really good, too.
They have beer and soft drinks.
We ate in the upstairs dining room, which gave us a view of the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood l.

Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di trovare questo ristorante per caso. È stato bello conoscere il proprietario italiano che oltre a deliziarci con i suoi piatti ci ha illustrato le principali caratteristiche del posto e dato ottimi consigli per renderci il soggiorno ancora più speciale. Tutto buono e di qualità. Un applauso alla cake al cioccolato di cui non ricordo il nome, ma una vera delizia. Grazie e a presto.

Siamo stati ben due volte in questo ristorante in cui abbiamo trovato i veri sapori italiani. Qualità e cordialità in entrambe le visite. Prezzi in linea con El Nido ma almeno possiamo dire di aver mangiato bene. Consigliatissimo!

Ottimo ristorante situato su una delle vie principali di El nido. Cibo fresco e di buonissima qualità. Personale molto gentile e veloce. Gestore italiano molto attento al cliente e sempre pronto a dispensare consigli sul come muoversi in città.
