Been buying pizza from here for the last couple of years and it has always been amazing. My family is a huge fan of their pan style pizza. We ordered a large cheese and sausage from them and when I got home immediately seemed like this pizza was different. It didn't have the same look or smells that's it has in the past. My family and I started to dive in and almost immediately my wife notice her sausage was still raw on the inside. Almost every single piece of pizza on that pie was not fully cooked. As we got into the middle of the pizza, the pie was so doughy and not cooked properly that those center pieces were pretty much unedible. That night both my wife and I had very bad stomach issues and were feeling very sick. Definitely bummed out as this has been my favorite pizza place in the area. Their thin crust is mediocre at best and forgettable. However, their famous deep dish is absolutely fantastic. It has a thick, yet incredibly light, buttery, and flaky crust that lets you eat a few slices without feeling like you have a lead balloon inside of you. The sauce, at least to me, was different/better on the deep dish compared to the thin which is good. Plus, a square cut deep dish is unique, giving your some messy but delicious inside slices. I rolled in after 14 hrs driving day n asked for a couple slices...she said we don't do slices...I only had 10 minutes left so I ordered from a different place. This is thee Only pizza joint who doesn't believe in pizza slices for on the run workers.. Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

This place is amazing! The owners are so kind and welcoming. They make you feel like family. The food is beyond tasty! The pizza is so flavorful and enjoyable. The crust is soft yet crispy with a light buttery taste. The side items are served hot and fast. I’m definitely going to frequent Luigi’s in Plainfield, IL. Very average pizza. The large is not big at all. Salad was just okay. Fried Zucchini was delicious! It took an hour & a half to get our order.

If you like cheese on your deep dish.. don't go here. I honestly think they didn't put cheese on it at all. My whole family asked if it had cheese on the pizza. It was like crust and sauce and topping. I've never ordered a deep dish that had no cheese and it's basically as much as a deep dish from any other known pizza place around here.
