¡Comida reconfortante en su máxima expresión!
Get comfortable up in here. Off the bat let me say that the 4 out of 5 is NOT due to service or (why we really go out to eat) the flavor and tast of the food.
Spacing was an issue and beverages left A LOT to be desired - from the lemonade to the frozen strawberry 🍓/and regular Margueritas. Flavor just was off. The beach area reserved for the restaurant was kind of tight, and table spacing / size was a bit of an issue. Since the seating was actually on the beach sand, the view proved breath taking - BUT if you are not dressed for the sand, you may prove to be challenged by the outdoor sitting.
But ... the view was marvelous as the Monfongo, cheeseburger, wings and pollo quesadillas were enjoyed.
Our server/host. Sébastien took care from the very start to finish and his humility/humbleness was classic as he refused EXTRA tipping. 🤷🏽♂️❤🤷🏽♂️ A great spirit on this young man.
The food was tasty! Menue Pricing was under $60.00(usd) for two well portioned appetizers and I ne entrée .($$ rating).
Visit Los Chapines if you want to experience an environment and eats that exercise your comfort.

Server probably hates her job. She showed up once so we ordered drinks and appetizers. Another lady brought the food out and she did not return, so we never got to order our main. When we paid she added a tip without asking me!!!

Food was ok. Beans were very watery chicken was good nothing to say wow this is the bomb. Husband had dish and they put some ketchup type sauce. The upside the parcha mojito was awesome
Combate Beach front, beautiful view, (although limited), Good food, pastelillos, even an acoustic cover band! I wanted to help the local economy but.. Sadly, the service for the beach front was horrible, our waiter had no skills. Waiting time for anything was way excesive. Me and others had to keep on walking towards the bar to ask for anything. As if someone had forgotten they had a bunch of customers sitting at the back (beach side) I suggest, the manager trains his people and establishes some sort of system. I wolud not visit again.
This is the first time I bring my wife and family to Puerto Rico , we choose this restaurant because of the good reviews. We came at 7:00pm drinks arrived one hr after , my wife and I are Chefs we stayed there cause we all were talking and because we gave them a chance . Drinks were brought one by one ( we were 7) no sugar in a lemonade , no sugar in a mojito .. then another hr for the food to arrive because we ask … order incomplete , they skip one order and they didn’t put another one every body eating but me. I canceled my order with the owner/manager he didn’t even bother to asked why? .. next thing the waitress came out the kitchen yelling at us saying that if I cancel the order she will have to pay for it , she was rude. After that she gave it to us to go . During all this disappointing dinner a waitress named Gaby was called from Annie’s restaurant to help the mess they have at this restaurant . Let me say that she is wonderful, we asked for her name because next time for sure we are going to go to look for her at Annie’s. As I mentioned before we stayed there to give it a try understanding they were opened just for couple weeks but definitely the owner need to have control , they have to hire real bartenders or giving a food training , definitely training to the servers and training them to handle stress when the place get busy or have big tables.and the kitchen to be faster or better organized. And as a owners of a restaurant and catering the best advice is caring about your employees first and not coming with making them pay for canceled dishes unless it happen often to the same server. We are definitely not coming back, we will look for Gaby .. we’ll see you at Annie’s. Good food, good drinks great service .
