One of the best Long John Silver's I've been to in a long time. Drove 90 miles just to eat there and it was everything and more. Very friendly and professional staff. Clean and great atmosphere. Great food as well. We will be back... Great Job!! Atmosphere: 5

I mean....in all honesty, it was expensive when my parents took me as a child, and even more so now. The food is not bad, but it definitely is overpriced. I'm not sure why I keep going back...lol I paid over 30 bucks for two meals. I guess it's just a good memory of my childhood. I remember they used to give out coupons, and I look online, but they are always expired. I guess it's a good place for quick friend seafood. I wish this wasn't the only location in the area. We wanted something different and ended up here. Ordered for 3 adults, and we got 3 meals. The chicken was overcooked and a bit tough. My parents didn't have any complaints about the fish other than the plastic forks wouldn't cut it. Had to eat it like pizza. The saving grace was the hushpuppies. Delicious as usual. The ice machine was broken and was putting a lot of extra work on the staff. They had to get ice from the drive-thru. It was a bit warm in the dining area, and you had to hunt down your own pepper. The food wasn't bad, but for the price, it wasn't really worth the drive. The cheapest meals are ~$10. Ordered 8 oc meal 6 chicken 2 fish and the chicken were ok except 2 pieces looked like 1 piece came apart and had 2 tiny ones not good and the coleslaw side was only 2/3 full just shorting portions is not acceptable. The meal selection options were bigger then I would have likes. All have 2 sides and I would have like just one side. Minor issue. Counter staff, greeted me when I came in. They were not busy, but about half the tables needed cleaning. The sauce bar was out of the little cups to put the sauces in. Again they were not busy and no one was keeping up on the dine in area. Update 12/23/23 @ 5:06 p.m.: Changes have been made here. Everything was MUCH better! Fresh food and FRIENDLY service! Normally we love coming here but today was a different story. The service was awful, the food was cold and old. They were not busy. One young lady took our order, ten minutes later I had to go ask how much longer it would be before our food was ready. I was met with blank stares. The same young lady who took my order didn't remember us ordering anything. Another employee just threw our order in a box and acted like it was no big deal. The order was placed for dine-in, not to-go. Fries were old and hushpuppies were cold. Probably won't be back to this location. If the employees don't care, why should I? There are not too many around, and I had to drive pretty far to get to this one. Lol It was definitely worth it. I've been here twice, and both times, it was perfect. I have never driven this far for "fast food," but I'm willing to do it again when I get that craving. great kind customer service. saddens me to see this fantastic chain under appreciated. went there w my mom on saturday at lunch time and the whole time we dined in we were the only ones there. my favorite seafood of all time. i dont care what anyone says. please go support your local lohn john because I love this place and they keep closing down. DONT LET LOHN JOHN SILVERS DISAPPEAR! delicious fish, awesome breading and the best seafood chain
