It is difficult to get there without a car, but it is worth the trip if you want to visit a suburban seafood restaurant popular among Thais. The fish and shrimp are fresh, especially the raw shrimp, which have a great plump texture. If you want to try raw seafood, this is the place to go.
The menu is extensive and has pictures so you won't have trouble ordering. The staff is also friendly.
Overall, I think it is a very good restaurant with good prices and good taste. Why not stretch your legs during your trip to Hua Hin?

We came here during Songkran holiday and surprisingly the food still came out fast despite being on peak hour during holiday!!

Welcoming entrance with enough parking; the whole restaurant is built on a little lake quite nicely, must be even more beautiful at night. Special chairs for small kids. Many staff around, helpful and friendly as always. Great selection of tasty Thai food at reasonable price tags. Clean and proper facilities.

Great seafood in outdoor setting over lagoon with a great breeze. We ordered the curry crab, steamed mussels, and Tom yum soup and all was delicious. Great place to stop on the drive back to Bangkok from Hua Hin to rest from traffic. Enjoy the seafood at Lom Talay.

Great ambience with restaurant built on the water, comfortable, relaxing with breezy wind and no mosquitoe. Had Thai seafood for dinner and it tasted good, would not say its the best but definitely something satisfying after a long day trip. Good service and attentive waiters.
