It's apparently been here since 1894 and still delivering quality food. There are dining areas at the front, inside, and out the back where I ate. There are a lot of options on the menu from seafood to steak. I opted for a seasonal salad and squid and prawns, both of which were fresh and tasty. With the usual cover, water, a half bottle of wine, ice cream and coffee 30 euros. I had a selection of the tapas dishes this time. Three dishes were plenty for one person and would have served two. I had a lovely dinner with a friend in Lobo do Mar. We got a table without reservation. The waitress was very friendly and chatty and gave us some nice recommendations. We each had a little starter, shared a fresh, grilled Roubalo with potatoes and vegetables, a desert, a coffee and a glas of wine and ended up paying 16 Euro each, which is a great value. Everything that was served on the neighbor tables looked also pretty good. Looking forward to come back and try some more of their food. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €15–20

Good variety of dishes to choose from, without being too complicated. Opted for some "tapas" - good serving size, good taste, high quality ingredients. Fish and seafood chowder deliciously elaborate. Friendly and courteous staff, nice decor. The only minus: no parking on-site, but easy to do on nearby side streets.

Very nice service, everyone is friendly, but there is a super nice waitress who explains every dish perfectly. The food is delicious and fresh.
