Overall a near perfect score of 4.5⭐ Yes, it is touristy and crowded but don't let this put you off. It's my favourite Nyonya restaurant in Melaka. The quality of its food is consistently delicious. My go-to dishes are the hard to find ones (at least in KL): ayam buah keluak, cili garam fish, ayam masak lada - and chendol. The taste for each of this dish is intense but not overly chilli hot. Dig out the filling from the buah keluak, mix it with the sauce and eat with plain rice. An acquired taste but heavenly to convertees. Ayam masak lada is perfectly balanced in taste - a rich red sambal that is heavily flavoured with pepper. Extremely more-ish. The sambal of the cili garam fish is a bit (but not overly) sweet to balance out the spices and chillies. Leave some space for the chendol - one of the best in Melaka. I like the fact that the shaved ice is NOT overly fluffy and does not melt instantaneously. I have tried their other dishes in the past such as udang masak nenas which is excellent. You won't go wrong with any of their other Nyonya staples such as pongteh, pau tee, kangkung belachan etc. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
The food was flavourful , babi pongtey and rendang chix were a bit over-salty. Itek tim (kiam chye duck soup), assam stingray, stirfry sweet potato leaves, nonya chup chye and chendol were especially yummy! Ngor heong, we din really like it, tasted floury, could not taste meat/prawns/water chestnuts. The resto has 2 shop space, so there were a number of big and medium-sized tables available. Spacious resto. Popular resto amongst the locals, very good biz, saw quite a number of walk-ins and a short q formed outside. Advisable to make reservation. My family of 6pax , 4 adults and 2 teens wiped out the dishes clean. Oh, their rice portion has small n big-sized, small is half a bowl-sized portion. Except for the assam stingray, we ordered small portion, others were all medium portion. We also ordered a pot of Chinese Jasmine Tea.The total cost was RM260+(inclusive of service charge, 5 or 6%? ). Quite cheap as compared to some other famous Nonya restos in Malacca. The shop opens at 11 , we reach about 11.15 am? This is on a weekday and there was already a table inside seated. Service was meh 😏 not that they were particularly rude but neither were they welcoming. Serve us food with no cutlery and gave us forks without spoons 🤣 but I’m here for the food not the service so 😅 the food is good Crowd started coming in shortly so I’m not sure if you would want to considering calling and seeing if they take rsvp. Rice ( L ) : RM 2.80 Itik Tim ( S ) : RM 19 Chicken with black nut ( S ) : RM 32 Chap Chai ( S ) : RM 13 Goreng Assam Prawns ( S ) : RM 35 Cendol : RM 6 The chicken with black nut is delicious . The chicken is very tender and the sauce is good to go with rice. Definitely recommend. The black nut 🤔 I use to love eating keluak nut but this taste different from the ones I usually have which is in Portuguese curry so I’m not sure what to expect from this black nut from this dish. But it’s an experience. Would definitely order the dish mayb without the black nut next time. The soup is good and flavourful :) the vegetable as well. Prawn portion is alright and flavourful as well. Generally all the dish was yummy 😍 Cendol slightly sweet but I suppose all cendols are 😅 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chicken Curry

A good introduction to Nyonya food. We had the Asam Stingray and it was really good with rice. The Pai Tee was crispy with nice fillings. Cendol was very nice with the Gula Melaka, it has a slight saltly taste, very addictive. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Food was served very quickly. This is a small restaurant so recommend to come earlier or book a place in advance! You can choose the size of the dishes so you can order more or less if you'd like! Family enjoyed the Udang Lemak Nenas. I liked the chap chye. The duck soup could've been more flavourful but was decent. The asam pari was very spicy. The cincolok omelette was salty for me but my family said it was alright I wanted to try bubur cha cha but it's only available Saturday and Sunday 😭 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Udang Lemak Nenas

The food was good. Pork pong teh has a lot of fatty pieces, wished it had a tad leaner. Rendang Chicken is definitely a must order !! Portions were just nice!! Cincaluk eggs tasted like fu yong eggs with cincaluk aroma . Rice was soft and fluffy !! The waitress was nice enough to make everything less spicy for the elderly diners. Your typical peranakan Nyonya food (for tourists). When we were there, most customers were tourists. Food was good, but a bit on the sweet side. The taste was for the mass, and wasn't really unique. Still, it was good food. Service was fast and friendly. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

What can I say about the Nonya food that's available here? You gotta try the Babi pongteh and/or seybak. Both are similar but different. Seybak is a pot roast pork but this was more braised with 5 spice and ginger. Lovely taste. The asam pedas was delightful. My favorite. The chap chai was pretty real. The service is pretty good. Food came quickly after we ordered. If you aren't fussy and can eat pork, you got to try Lin Neo Delights. The food will delight your palate and yr tummy. Bestny!!!
