Srilankan mother food, made with love and care. Butter fish was delicious and devil shrimps were the best so far. Better then any hotel restaurant but don't expect European style, order what they recommend and you will not be disappointed. Food had very odd taste - maybe the oil it was cooked in. Owners - both Man and Woman although they appear friendly, pretend not to have any change and advise you to come back the next day after they have been to the bank and then have further excuses not to return your money. The man tries to fool you with the bill (worked on us, 1000 too much on the bill and 290 more since he had first offered a "deal" and then counted 2 dishes separately). He writes down the correct items, but then adds them up wrong (in favour of the house of course). We unfortunately only realised after counting back at home, since they wait next to you to pay your bill. We then also realized he had done the same trick on our neighbors, who did do the recount and paid the right amount. Food was O.K. but overcooked, and same problem here: many dishes without a price on the menu, for which you have to haggle (our price went from 10.000 to 6000 and then was also wrong on the bill again....)
