We know Lay Restaurant since 2012. He moved from the beautiful beach to the main street. The food is one of the best you can get in Khao Lak 😋👌. The prices are very good and the food is sooooo yummy. Lay Restaurants is absolutely one of our favourites in Khao Lak. Definitely worth to visit. We highly recommend. Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It's actually TARN, Lay restaurant is probably not here anymore, likely renamed. The food is tasty, however not outstanding. Prices are very reasonable so you can't complain. The very best restaurant in Beautiful Khao Lak! The staff is extremely attentive and our Host is the most amazing person, very helpful and friendly, as well as the rest of the personal! We ate there everyday since the food was exquisite! The appetizer - Fresh fruit - is certainly a great start and after the main course we were given a delightful dessert of Fried Bananas which was simply beautifully done! The price is an extra Plus, since its cheaper than most places we've seen around Khao Lak! An amazing restaurant with an amazing staff!

Review for the cooking class: totally worth it!! If you want an authentic experience with food shopping at the local market and cooking your own food this is THE PLACE. We got picked up at our hotel, we went to the local market and received good advices on the fruits/fish/spices ect and what is used in the thai food. Then we choosed our menu: appetizer, soup or curry, main dish, desert. (Menu is flexible and can be personalized e.g. more/less spicy). Our teachers were very friendly and we had a good time!! They also take pictures for you when you cook and emailed them to you along with all the receipes!! You are supervised, cook yourself and finally eat! I can’t recommend enough to book it!! I had the best pad thai and spring rolls in town! Thanks a lot

Really awesome food. They have a wide choice of vegetarian foods which is not so obvious. Everything we tried here was amazing and we came back to this place several times on our holidays. The staff is super friendly. They also offer cooking classes.

Wanted a local, inexpensive dinner and had seen it was quite busy here whenever we passed by so we stopped in. Lovely clean restaurant, friendly staff and the food was delicious. I wanted something light so opted for the chicken noodle soup … one of the tastiest I’ve had. Husband v pleased with his chicken fried rice and pork ribs in curry sauce. They do cooking classes too. We’ll definitely return for more tasty food.

The owner of the place is such an amazing host, she is super friendly and helpful. We have been there several times and the food and service is always perfect.
