I live across the road from this Fish and Chip shop not ideal because we go there at least twice sometimes 3 times a week to get Chips.
Lovely friendly couple love the burgers and fish and chips. Always gives extra. Great food

First time trying Latham street takeaways - friendly, fresh fish, yummy garlic chips, fresh crab stick. Heaps of sauce. Good pricing. My new favourite weekly treat. Very quick to cook!

2nd favorite fish and chip shop with pirimai being my number 1.
These 2 workers have fantastic memory with face and orders. There food is amazing.
Also at night they lack manners because they are exhausted but they are lovely in the morning lmao.
they are definitely good and reliable with giving you high quality food for acceptable price.

Latham Street Takeway is only a few hundred meters from our house and we had fish & chips there several times since we moved to Marewa a few months ago. This is run by a friendly Chinese couple.
So far we only had fish and chips and it’s very good! We keep ordering the same food because it is so nice, sorry, cannot comment on the various other items on their takeways menu.
There are convenient car spots in front of the door but we generally just walk.
This isn’t a place to dine in. But they have a few chairs for you to sit down while you wait for your order. I don't think they deliver.
I have no hesitation to recommend the Latham Street Takeway.

A late decision for tea, after 8pm. Waited under 10 mins, straight home, table set and time to eat. My fish and chips were still hot, fish was very fleshy with a good covering of batter. The spring rolls were delicious. Our 2 scoops were very generous. Will go again.

I found this one boy behind the counter quite rude, he swore and was not able to communicate well with me as a customer. Was awkward. Also the food was disappointing with un-seasoned soggy chips and a sugar-less donut. Fish was below par and I cannot get over the taste of their hot-dogs. I thought I was eating dog

I asked for extra crunchy chips and fish but they were all soggy and the paper had pools of fats soaking through it. Very disappointing. The sausage seemed ok though.

Within walking distance of most Marewa homes. A limited selection of burgers and deep fried foods. No longer doing Asian food

Woooow that was extreamly bad . Soggy chips (well in truly under done) fish old taisting, curry roll cold in middle and soggy, and when it came to the sweet and sour chicken i may as well had a glass of beatiful hawkes bay fresh clorinated tap water . As that would have had more flavor. Extreamly dissapointing !!!!!!!! Will NOT be back
