I had the most amazing dinner there tonight. Roberto’s (the owners) service was excellent. The #7 Volcano was a combo of shrimp, crab and other chunks of fish in sauce/soup to die for all served in a huge fired stone bowl with the broth still boiling!!! I highly recommend this venue. The only negative is that it is on the second floor. It’s worth the climb!!! Update: New Location is amazing. Same great food. Great local family restaurant. Great owner speaks perfect English. They do not serve alcohol but you can BYOB if you choose. Chimichanga was filling and crispy immediately out of the fryer and the enchiladas were excellent with fresh lettuce on top. The guacamole was chunky and fresh and we left stuffed. Will be back again.

Vegan options were greatly appreciated! Ordered the vegan volcano (a bit of a kick but good veggie selection), vegan burger, and vegan pancakes. Vegan burger patty was under-seasoned the ketchup and fries saved the dish. Pancakes had a good berry fruity flavor, but texture was a bit mushy; I'm used to making my oatmeal pancakes a bit more fluffy. After arriving in Puerto Penasco this was our first stop following recommendations from friends. Our server (owner?) was friendly and inviting. We ordered Fajitas de Pollo, Burritos de Carne, and Camarones al Gusto which included huge bacon wrapped shrimp! Our meals were excellent, large portions, made with fresh ingredients. This was a small covered eatery, very cozy. I do recommend this eatery! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Lovely place with vegan food options with great service. We ordered vegan pizza, tostada and a vegan volcano. All three dishes were delicious. We had brownie with ice cream for dessert. That was a disappointment, brownie was hard as rock. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

We stopped in for breakftast/lunch and the food is great! The ingredients they use are really fresh and the cooks take great attention to detail when pulling everything together. We ordered the guacomole, shrimp tacos, Volcano Trio, and Chulaquiles con Carne. The guacamole was a little over seasoned for my taste and felt it took away from the freshness. But the marinated pico de Gallo that came with it was fantastic. The shrimp tacos were served with a light sauce with the accoutrement on the side. The corn tortillas were a little more brittle than the flour but both tasted good. The chilaquilles had great flavor, the tortillas had a nice crunch and the beef was very flavorful. The Volcano Trio stole the show! The sauce that it's served in was fantastic! The steak is started on the grill and finished in the sauce - amazingly tender! Same with the shrimp and chicken! Update: "Try the fried chicken, and it will remind you of Southern Black skillet fried chicken, the crust was great!!!" Past: We stopped in for lunch today and wow it was very good. I had a Huarache with shredded beef, it was very, very good, the wife had a cheeseburger and she hasn't stopped talking about it. Looking forward to going back again and trying more items!!! The owners are great people and he speaks English for the Spanish handicapped...lol 😊

This is such a gem. The owner served us and he was so friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best I've ever had in Puerto Peñasco. You have to try the volcano. I was expecting a small mocajete, but out came this huge bubbling bowl of deliciousness. I ate the whole thing, but I'm a big eater. I could have easily shared it with someone else. The chimichangas were also delicious. They even did the Cowboy hamburger better than most restaurants in the states. The prices were so reasonable. We spent about $10/person. Don't miss this one! AMAZING HIDDEN GEM in Puerto Peñasco - away from the crowd. Vegan options, freshly made (they craft all their ingredients on site) ...you can feel the freshness in every bite. The clean atmosphere enhances the meal experience. Family owned super humble. Highly recommended.
