We ate at this restaurant once and we're so delighted by their delicious salmon and runa tostadas, that we cameback a second time. It was among the best food we had in Mexico! The whole team is so welcoming, kind and funny. Shoutout to Fernando, who went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. 🍴🐟🍹 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We had a great time here! We stopped here on while on a cruise, it was simple to get here from the port, and they even give you video instructions how to arrive to the pick up point. The Food was excellent and Jaqui and her staff offered us the utmost hospitality, even though we had a large group of 13 people. The place has beautiful views and the kids had an amazing time playing in the water. Would highly recommend!

We stumbled across this awesome mezcalaria and cevicheria. Had the THC infused mezcal, and a complimentary tequila tasting. The food was incredible. We now have a new friend, Miguel, who served us and we keep in touch with. The food, drinks and entire experience was incredible! One of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend!! Definitely want to go back! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch
This visit was a third party excursion booked through Trip Advisor while on a cruise. It was not available through the cruise line. One has to walk a short distance (about 5 minutes) from Costa Maya Cruise Port to the pickup location at their affiliated Catrina Restaraunt. While awaiting your transport you will be treated to complimentary bottled water, beverages, and beer. The trip to their beach location is less than 10 minutes. Roundtrip transportation was $4 per person. Jackie's Kitchen at La Chilangaloense was a fun experience for the whole family. The cooking class was especially enjoyable as we made the local style of salsa, guacamole, and ceviche. The cooking demonstrator was fluent in English and Spanish and was a delight to learn from. A two hour open bar included drinks, adult beverages, margaritas, and tequila. Restrooms are located on site. Afterwards one could relax on the sunny, sandy beach or under shaded lounging areas before returning to the cruise ship terminal.
Everything we had here was so elaborate and detailed in both taste and execution. Although the food was flawless and amazing, the real taste explosions were the mixology drinks with mezcal. The Ka'an K'an was sweet but fresh, and La Llorona was the best drink I've had in my life. Made with serrano chili, cilantro, triple sec, lemon juice and mezcal, it was not for everyone as it was really spicy. But for a chili lover like me, it was heaven. Best bartender ever!
Do yourself a favor: get a ride out of the port area and come visit this restaurant! Their food is on point! We tried several tacos and tortas and they were fantastic, and not the average recipe you'll find everywhere else. We also enjoyed some mezcal (not too mention a free tequila tasting) and our only complaint was that there were several very interesting mezcals listed on the menu that were not available (we'll chalk that up to pandemic- related supply issues). The atmosphere and view are incredible, as well. So worth a visit!

Excellent place to dine in, you can eat at the beach at night with some romantic lights above. Food was really good taste wise as well as presentation. Drinks were very delicious. Prices are really affordable. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
Absolutely amazing! Julio phenomenally welcoming and helpful. You can't beat the view and the clean, comfie loungers, and the mango drink was probably the best cocktail I've ever had.

The food was amazing and the drinks were delicious. The corn tortillas were the best I have ever had. The only downside was the beach/street vendors. You couldn't even relax without them asking you to buy something. The beach is not great, lots of blocked off sections, per the restaurant/beach club. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
